Good job Traci!!!!!!! I am so happy that you made your goal!!!!!! I really am into this goal thing, I never have been before, but I think it really is inspirational to have goals and then meet them!! You are an inspiration and all I can say about that last photo is.................................wow!!!! You have done so good and come so far....... Oh, hows the little challenge going for you? No night time eating going on here......how about you?

They are long but they sure do give the lung capacity needed for other things. The river was a blast and I am with you....who knew all the fun times I have been missing out on....I am the one trying to talk DH into going to the amusement park now...and now he doesnt' want to go..... Its so awesome to be able to move and move good....I am so proud of all of us....we have done so good!!
-
oh oh oh oh oh oh oh.......and I floated the river yesterday on a tube made for three people with DD and DH...it was the absolutely best time ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so glad that I could do it and not have to be the one just watching and not participating...that feels soooooooooooooooooo dang good!!!!!!!!!!
-
TRACI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That picture is just simply amamzing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are simply amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One day, maybe we can take pictures of all of us in one pair of pants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL......... Ok, I jogged 1 mile this morning. I don't know what came over me, but I did it and it was great. I jogged 1/2 mile then walked about five minutes and then jogged the other 1/2 mile. Biking really makes a difference in your lung capacity...especially the big long nine mile hills. I could talk the entire time and never got out of breath....it was simply amazing....I am still smiling......

Just Banded Yesterday
areellady replied to Missprdiva's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I slept in a recliner for a week. I bought a big cushy one just for that reason....although I think everyone is different, the majority can not lay down to sleep without discomfort for awhile. -

Call and ask your doctor where you should get it. -
Share ideas, What did you eat today ?

Bloo, I have to tell you I made the Parm meatballs yesterday and they are tooooooooooooooo die for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The whole dang family loved them, I was hording them and saying...NO NO NO seconds, these are for my lunches next week....DH said to make a double batch next time...thanks for the recipe!! -
Hi ladies, just thought I would say hi to some fellow Idaho bandsters. I had Dr. Baird do my band. I was self pay so I went to my first appt with the doc, and two weeks later, I was banded. Good luck to you and if you have any questions or need anything, I would be happy to help you!!!

As long as you are ranting about drivers and you walk to work, heres one closely related. A PERSON ON A BICYCLE DESERVES TO BE ON THE ROAD TOO!!! GIVE THEM SOME ROOM AND DON'T KILL THEM BECAUSE YOU ARE A STUPID IDIOT THAT HAS NO BRAIN!! I feel for you walking to work, if the sidewalk is not safe, then I realize why I am being nearly killed everytime I put my bike on the road....or the bike lane...because apparently, cars are suppose to "take out" anything in there way that does NOT resemble a car...

Does anybody NOT throw up?
areellady replied to ohjuly7878's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have only PB'd once and it was just a month ago, over a year out of surgery. I don't plan on ever doing it again. I usually just slime a lot when I get something stuck if I eat to fast or don't chew good enough. Good luck to you and I hope you never throw up. -
You will start feeling better and better!!! I actually like the EAS protein drink, you can get it at Walmart.
-
Both these ladies are right on. If you do something because you have to and you get no enjoyment out of it, then you won't stick to it. I myself, am an outdoor person. I am not a gym person, at all. I hate it. I walked when first banded, then tried the couch to 5K.....not for me either. I bought a bike and thought it was so great. Sure, it was hard work at first. I could barely do 5 miles at a time. Today, I ride about 130 miles a week. On a road bike. In spandex shorts. I love it. In fact I always think I need to find something to do for exercise. I love riding so much that it is NOT exercise to me, it is just fun. I truly believe this is the ticket to exercise. Try some different things out. I also roller blade, but don't have a really good place to do close by. Good luck to you!!!

Got a 31.59 miles in tonight!! Just sayin....
-
You know you are a bandster when....
areellady replied to Tyler883's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I didn't have a PB until just last month. I have been banded since April 07!! I have slimed A LOT, but never Pb'd. I was a weird experience and I can not imagine doing it over and over again like some people. The sliming is gross and I hate it, but it does happen when I eat too big a bite and something gets stuck...
