areellady replied to losingjusme's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I usually weigh in on Thursday at home and once a month at doctors. I will use my home scale which is three pounds heavier than doctors scale, but have weekly access to it. So here is mine. July - Labor Day 2007 Challenge Name.............................Starting….Current…...Goal….....To Go losingjusme........................293...........2 93............276...........17 areellady.............................251.5........251.5..........230...........21.5 -
No, I like to carry this weight around so people like YOU can ask me if I ever considered losing the weight. What a bunch of morons....people who have never had a weight problem are such morons when it comes to overweight people.

LMAO...if you see women with contorted faces then maybe that it what is going on....a whole new meaning to road rage!!!! I have read on some other sites that when they do tummy tucks when they pull the muscles up and tighten them the women say the orgasms are awesom and bring a whole new meaning to the big "O"....

LOL, good job Juli!!! THanks for posting the 21 miles, since I only got a 20 miler in....now I have to work on 21 MILES...LOL..j/k. That is sooooo freakin awesome, and I LOVE the way I feel the rest of the day/ night after I ride. It is the absolute best feeling. Damn I love my bike!!! Keep up the good work all!!

If I could chime in here for a sec....on your Asian chicken salad....you put down the nutrition information for that. If I could just point out something to you about this. The label reads 18 servings....no matter if you think it is 18 or not, that is what it is. It has 180 calories a serving. That makes this whole container 3,240 calories. THAT IS A LOT OF CALORIES!!! Let alone the 9 g carbs per serving....if you are trying to watch your carbs. I think that is where people get messed up with their calorie counting. They don't look at the NUMBER OF SERVINGS and figure out the correct amount of calories!! I don't know if this is part of the problem or not, but thought I would point this out. If you eat half of the salad one day and half the other day, then you would be getting 1,620 calories a day JUST from eating this salad. Hope that helped, if not, just ignore me....I am used to that anyways...LOL...Deanna

Edie, I used it for over two years and NEVER had a problem. Just so you know that not everyone who uses it gets a virus. BUT there was enough negative comments on your site that I did uninstall mine, just because I need this computer to keep working through three more semesters til I graduate.

I really think that is it great that you are up and moving!!! That is what is so great! So many banders think they can just eat less and get the results they want. While that may work for some, at least for awhile, it is not going to work for the majority of us. Moving our bodies, whether is it biking, walking, running, swimming or whatever is what is great. Big hand claps to all of us who are doing the band the justice it deserves and doing our part in process!!!

WOW, did we realize how much we eat????
areellady replied to Bamalama's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The best is when you go to a resturant and watch how much food people SHOVE into their bodies. And to know, that you once were doing the exact same thing. It blows my mind now to watch people eat. -
Lee that is such a great NSV, I can't wait until someone doesn't recognize me. That will be a GREAT day. Congratulations!!!!
-
Lee, I am not talking about a boxed bike. That is what they call the bikes at the retail chain stores. I am talking about a good bike from a bike shop. They know their bikes and they are better quality. Thats the facts. I am not saying a 74 dollar bike won't get you where you are going, but riding 20 miles or more at a time on a 74 dollar bike might make it so you only do it once!!! I am glad you found a bike that you really like and enjoy!!! That is great!
-
Alynne, I am SOOO sorry about your knee!!! What a bummer!!! That really sucks. You are so upbeat about it though. You didn't break anything did you? Were you racing????LOL....I know I try to race DH sometimes....I am sorry you had that happen, but glad you are not turned off to your bike.

LOL..the flu is actually upper respiratory infection so to guard against actual "flu", the shot is not going to stop you from vomiting. Most people refer to the flu as upset stomach, so I usually do too. But "stomach viruses" might be a better way to say it...
-
I agree....now I am your shadow!!! I really like all the people who post on here. You know I was looking at how many people are always on the some of the other threads...and I thought, wow, if all those people looked at the exercise threads too, then we might have a whole lot of banded exercisers!!!! Keep up the good work everyone....
-
yeah, just what I need.....faster, wife, faster.....lol....yeah, that we could do, but then I would be pissed because he is riding and I am running....I love biking!!!
-
I looked at road bikes the other day and now I WANT ONE.....25 miles tomorrow...shit..now I HAVE to go out and do 25 miles...I don't want your ass looking better than mine!!!! LMAO!!!! 50 miles by the end of the summer...that would be sooooooooo awesome!!! I wanna do 50 miles...omg...I think I would die if I did 50 miles...we are planning a 40 mile trip, but are going to work up to it.

I have it and yes, lots of different music is offered.
-
so with this wax....how long before you have to go again? I don't want to have to go every week or every every two weeks. How long does the hair have to be to get waxed down there?
-
I know my doctor told me if I get the flu, call right away and they will unfill me so if I do vomit, it wont hurt the band. NOW that you asked the question though, I am wondering if this was forever or just for a certain period of time.

South East Idaho!!

awesome guys!!! That is cool and I don't care what anyone says, someone noticing you, and ESPECIALLY MOUTHING "YOUR HOT",
-
I always thought fat made you look younger. A lot of times the puffiness of being fat goes away and then there are wrinkles where there never was before...I guess maybe it all depends on the person.
-
It seems to be the norm that people think if you are heavy, obese, fat...whatever they see you as then you could not possibly work out. Good for you and congrats on banding.

Don't know what this pain was but has anyone had
areellady replied to areellady's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Tagger...wow...I was sleeping so I don't think it was my gallbladder. I thought I was having problems with my gallbladder a while ago, but the RN said if it is not associated with food, then it is probably not the gallbladder...I am just glad it finally went away..for you and ME....I was going to go to the ER but I just KNEW as soon as I got in there it would go away....I hate that!!! Good luck to you!! Deanna -
So, are you going to continue doing all of your other exercise too? Or just do this ROM??? Deanna
