Mountain bikes are Treks too, except hubby got a Gary Fisher. J, you are too funny with your cookie comment!!!! :wink2::mad2::smile: BAD BAD cookies!!! TX, I wish I would of known you were getting rid of your rock, I would of biked down and hauled a few ton away...LOL...:out:

HP, LOVE LOVE LOVE the new bike... The other day we were at Home Depot and we had taken out bikes. Well, at the check out I ask the lady for a double bag because we are on our bikes and she thinks I am talking about motorcycles...It was sooooo funny, she starts telling us all about her bike and asks if we ride a lot....my DH is like "oh, yeah, we ride a lot".....We laughed all the way out the store.

Oh, and I have hauled in 4 ton of 3-4 inch rock by myself this weekend. SO, I am very sore but very happy with my new lifestyle. Last year I would of said, "oh, well, we don't need to landscape!" and went and ate ice cream....LOL...not this year, I am loving life....A LOT!!!

I would have to say that I get the prize for the most bikes bought in one year. Now, we started out with three K-Mart bikes. Schwinns. One for me, DD and DH. DH and I then got sport comfort bikes from the LBS. Now we have five new bikes. Then DH and I get two road bikes. Now we have seven bikes. Then this year we get two mountain bikes. Now we have nine bikes. Then we get DD a mountain bike. A Trek WSD 4300, purple and pearl. She LOVES it. Then we get DD a road bike. A Trek 1000 WSD. She LOVES it. We took one of the K-Mart bikes back after getting the sport comfies. We sold two of the K-Mart bikes to the neighbor for $50. WOW, what a bargain!!!! We are such nice neighbors:lol: We are going to sell the sport comfies because we just don't use them anymore, they were great to start biking with, but not so good for us now. So, when we sell those, which by the way are not even a year old yet, we will be down five bikes from the start of this whole bike adventure. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, I win the most bikes in a year prize:tt2::thumbs_up::tt2::thumbup::tt2::tongue::tt2::tongue::tt2::tongue::tt2::party::tt2: Oh and we have a one car garage with eight bikes in it and my car....what a bunch of hillbillies we are, I am thinking of selling the car, but then I wonder how I would get groceries home....

Hi all, I am back. School is almost done, but I am done with my major finals for the semester, just some small stuff to finish up now. Well, I had my bandaversary on the 19th and my husband bought me a new toy. A Trek womans 4900 mountain bike. LOVE IT!!!! We have major mountains here in Idaho, so it is gonna be put to some good use, NOT THAT I DON'T LOVE MY ROAD BIKE!!! It still has not been really warm enough here to get on it and ride. Just an update on my weight, I plateaued (sp??) from October to March and just moved the scale 9 pounds in three weeks!!! And yes, that was from exercising hard again. I loved seeing the nine pounds down!!! It reminded me of the good ole' days of a year ago!!!! J, thanks for the note you sent me!!! Appreciated it!!! I do get on a read once in awhile, and now that school is pretty much done again until fall, I hope to be talking with you all much more. Glad to be back into the exercising mood, and must think of a way to stay in it this next winter....I HATE INDOOR EXERCISE!!!

I have definitely cleaned up my mouth too J!!! I have gone back to church and started loving Jesus and my life again. I hadn't been to church in 8 years!!!! So, that is my life and I am enjoying it now, just super busy and I am not exercising at all!!!!! So, I need to start that here when the snow melts!!! I HATE exercising in a gym.....it is the worst!!! Love ya all....someday I may get to come and visit with you all for a longer time than 5 minutes!!!! Hope you all are having a great New Year and I will be keeping you all in my prayers!!! God Bless...Deanna

One 15 1/2 oz can black Beans, drained and rinsed 1 lb. lean ground beef(90% or higher) or ground turkey breast 1 large egg, beaten 1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese 1/3 cup seasoned bread crumbs 1/2 tsp. garlic powder Preheat grill to medium. Place the beans in a large bowl and mash with the back of a large spoon until smooth but still a bit chunky. Add the beef, egg, cheese, bread crumbs and garlic powder and mix until well combined. Divide the beef mixture and shape into 8 patties. Place the patties on the grill and cook until no longer pink inside and an instant read thermometer registers at least 160 degrees F., about 4 minutes each side. Top with shredded lettuce and your favorite salso and enjoy!! Each patty 200 calories 21 g. Protein 8 g fat 11 g carb 8 g Fiber Again I got this recipe from the New U Clinic in Idaho Falls, Idaho where I go to talk with fill R.N., dietitician, and exercise physiologist. I have not tried it, but it does sound good.

This makes me sick to think that people are willing to do this to themselves. WHY????? Chips: High-tech aids or tools for Big Brother? Debate rages over proliferation of ever-more-precise tracking technologies Demonstrators prepare to march against microchip implants planned for Alzheimer's patients, in front of the Alzheimer's Community Care Headquarters in West Palm Beach, Fla. March organizer Katherine Albrecht, left, said a prayer before starting the march. chips were implanted in livestock, fish, pets, even racehorses. books, passports and, unbeknownst to many consumers, on a host of individual items at Wal-Mart and Best Buy. But CityWatcher.com employees weren’t appliances or pets: They were people, made scannable. “It was scary that a government contractor that specialized in putting surveillance cameras on city streets was the first to incorporate this technology in the workplace,” says Liz McIntyre, co-author of “Spychips: How Major Corporations and Government Plan to Track Your Every Move with RFID.” Darks, the CityWatcher.com executive, said his employees volunteered to be chipped. “You would think that we were going around putting chips in people by force,” he told a reporter, “and that’s not the case at all.” Yet, within days of the company’s announcement, civil libertarians and Christian conservatives joined to excoriate the microchip’s implantation in people. “Ultimately,” says Katherine Albrecht, a privacy advocate who specializes in consumer education and RFID technology, “the fear is that the government or your employer might someday say, ’Take a chip or starve.”’ Some critics saw the implants as the fulfillment of a biblical prophecy that describes an age of evil in which humans are forced to take the “Mark of the Beast” on their bodies, to buy or sell anything. Others saw it as a big step toward the creation of a Big-Brother society. 'Surveillance society' “We’re really on the verge of creating a surveillance society in America, where every movement, every action — some would even claim, our very thoughts — will be tracked, monitored, recorded and correlated,” says Barry Steinhardt, director of the Technology and Liberty Program at the American Civil Liberties Union in Washington, D.C. In design, the tag is simple: A medical-grade glass capsule holds a silicon computer chip, a copper antenna and a “capacitor” that transmits data stored on the chip when prompted by an electromagnetic reader. Click for related content Discuss: What do you think of 'scannable humans?' Top search engines tighten privacy policies Special report: Privacy Lost Implantations are quick, relatively simple procedures. After a local anesthetic is administered, a large-gauge, hypodermic needle injects the chip under the skin on the back of the arm, midway between the elbow and the shoulder. John Halamka, an emergency physician at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston got chipped two years ago, “so that if I was ever in an accident, and arrived unconscious or incoherent at an emergency ward, doctors could identify me and access my medical history quickly.” (A chipped person’s medical profile can be continuously updated, since the information is stored on a database accessed via the Internet.)
