The first picture of the people off their bikes pushing them up the hill.....is that common there? That isnt you is it??? LOL...thought I better ask before you bonked me on the head for asking. And finally, did you get a new bike that I didn't know about sometime? I didn't know you have a road bike....is that yours??? Awesome if so!!! My hubby has the Discovery bike also.. I GOT MY BIKE OFF LAYAWAY.... It is sooooooooooooooooooo awesome!! HI all, getting ready to hit it hard this weekend....I'm so excited....I love the open road!!
-
J, are you saying your going to start posting like crazy??? Welcome to all the new faces to biking...this is great.... I will have to see if I can get a picture of the mountain pass although it is a twisty, long ride....I will try... So, is the 2100 the same as the 2.1?? I am confused. My mans road bike is a 1000, I do know that, and the one on layaway is a WSD 2.1

I also can't wait to be able to see 130 pounds lost on my ticker....that will be one amazing day. I have this saying when I do a great accomplishment, like the other day with the mountain pass....I say to DH, that deserves a family size pizza....and then I talk about all the toppings I want on it, and then we laugh, knowing that will never happen again and knowing that I am glad it will never happen again..
-
Oh man, I am really excited. The amount of miles I am putting in a week on this mans bike and the pain and suffering I am having because of it, I really can not wait until I get my bike. Did you get the 2.1 too? I can't remember what you said. I can't sleep so thought I would post and update my biking ticker to reflect the 33.03 miles done last night.

Hello all, did a huge accomplishment this weekend. I rode to top of Crystal Summit. A HUGE mountain pass and I DID IT!! I cried for like 10 minutes. I could not believe it. That was one of my goals for this year and I did it. I also put my "creamsicle" on layaway. I love it and can't wait to get it out. Buffet, maybe you could take a change of clothes????

Hi Brandy, that is so awesome that you are biking to work. Biking is a GREAT way to get in much needed exercise and then all of a sudden it just turns out to be fun and you want to do it all the time. I could never get tired of biking. It is such a stress reliver too. Traci is a great person to talk to about biking. Come join us on the other bicycling thread.

I don't use anything except, I have started taking a banana and half way through eating that, and it helps a whole lot. All the potassium I guess. I read about it in a BICYCLING magazine article. I do like to drink some sort of sports drink, low cal of course, when it gets really really hot, for the electrolytes. Rode 38.07 miles yesterday and planning on doing a major mountain pass today. Good luck to you on the new roads HP!!! Texas you are being missed all over the boards I see!!! Come back soon!!! Have a great weekend everyone and don't take any spills!!

We have not heard from her over on the bicycling thread either!!!! We are worried about her!!!
