pain in chese between boobs...
areellady replied to hopefulmom25's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Your band sits just to the left of your sternum, right where your having the pain, if your looking down on your boobs. It is the food or drink that is sitting in your pouch that is causing this. Do talk to your doctor about it. -
Giving insulin shots is not the same thing as giving yourself a fill.

Long2be, sometimes the gel pads make it worse. For now it is probably ok, but when you start riding more, you will want to get rid of it and get some spandex shorts with the padding in them, and go for a harder seat. I just had my first mammogram a few months ago, I was having some issues, but everything is good. Good luck with yours HP!!!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh well, that would of been awsome!!! Go to user cp and find signature. You can then type all the stuff you want in there
-
wow, you have lost 98 pounds since March?
-
I wonder if I can still get a ride in if I come to Ohio?
-
Well, I am mountain time, if I leave nowwwwwwwwwwwww, I should get there by........hmmmmmmmmmmmm.....I am not into math....

Don't try to count up the calories here but this is the absolutely best, and I mean best, enchilada recipes EVER!!! Jessiebear posted it in the recipe section. 2 pkgs flour tortillas (I only use one pkg of 10) 1 cup grated cheddar cheese 1 16 oz. sour cream 1 can of chicken or 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and chopped 2 cans cream of chicken soup 1 can diced green chilies 1 small onion diced I added a can of olives, sliced Mix together everything except tortillas. Reserve half of mixture to put on top of tortillas. Using other half of mixture, divide among tortillas and roll up. In 13x9 pan, put tortillas and spread remaining mixture on top, sprinkle with cheese. Bake 30 minutes @ 350 degrees. These areeeeeeeeeee the besttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!!!! I could eat these everyday. I would hate to see what the calorie content is though...

Isn't that funny Traci, I say 30, then tell you I am going 38....lol...have to win somehow I guess. It is really hot and humid here too, but the mountain pass we are going on it really really cool.....until you get to the top and come down the other side...then the heat wave begins again....
-
Ok HP, whoever goes the furthest wins!!!!!!! I will be going at least 38 I know for sure....but I will go further if I think you will.....LOL. J, oh, those sound sooooooooooooooooooooo good!!! I will be there at around, say 6pm??? Is that dinner time for you??? Gosh, a lot of times, we go ride and then get home so late we just eat cereal.....how boring...
-
Have to go grocery shopping...anyone have any good ideas for dinners? What do you all eat for dinner?

Sometimes the bigger the seat the more pain. At first a bigger seat is okay, but if you have been riding for awhile, a smaller seat is usually what will do the trick, and like babygrl says, keep riding, the pain will go away

Well, the thing about the Lapband is you don't really have to exercise to lose. BUT, and this is a big BUT, if you want to feel better physically, look better physically, burn lots of fat while not doing anything, then you need to work out. Muscle is key to looking good. You can take two people who are the same weight and one has not ever exercised and the other does and has lots of lean muscle and who will look better and be thinner??? Your right....the one with muscle. Too many people want a miracle to happen with a band and not have to put any effort into it. Why not be strong and healthy besides being thinner???

J, oh my, I am sorry. I have Shimano pedals, with SPD shoes....I just love them. I fell three times. Now, I unclip before I get to stop, although I have not fell for the last two months...so doing good. Sorry about your troubles. BG, food choices suck sometimes. Its so much easier to eat what we want instead of what we should....I try to tell myself when I am eating badly, "This is how I became a cow......" and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I wonder if it EVER gets easier with food. I doubt it.
-
BG, glad food has been good for you today. Thats great news!!
-
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh HP, calling HPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP, we on for a mini challenge tonight of 30 or more miles?????????????????????????????????????? Anyone else interested in seeing who can go the furthest tonight???
-
LOL..J, a SAHM....you have way to much energy for that....the mini you would be begging for some rest and you to go to work!!!!
-
I never knew you fell on your bike??? What happened???? I knew that you were not riding a lot this season, and I am so glad you are getting back into it now.
-
Not only did BG cry, she also crashed in front of several construction men....she was not seriously hurt...only her pride!!!!

I also did think I would be at goal and that I would have this whole thing figured out. I still am not at goal. Have stalled many many times...gained some, lost it again, then regained it. I have eaten way too much at times. I have gotten stuck on food that I keep eating, why I keep eating it is a mystery even to myself. I eat too fast still and too big of bites sometimes. I slime and feel horrible at times that I can't get myself to do it right everytime....BUT, I never in all my life did I think I would be climbing up the mountian passes that I climb with my bike. A few years ago I would say to DH when I saw someone riding their bike up passes was " WOW, now, look at them, they look like they are having soooooooooooo much fun, lets do that for fun huh?" and then go jump on my four wheeler with food in hand. Now, I am one of those people and love it. I would of thought you were crazy if you had told me I would be a lady that loves her bicycle more than anything(with exceptions)a year ago!!!!!! You will get there and you will be one of those people...just wait and see!!

I see the Kimkins advertisement again... right above this quick reply box....why????? I just don't get why they would let them advertise on here...

Choopie, I responded to your post out on the main forum...

LOL..I am 5'7" but I will be fine with not being right where the doc says I should be. I want to feel good and look good, but not looking to be a size 4....I have never been that. The smallest I remember being in high school is a 10...so, I would be very happy with a 12 at this time. Maybe when I get down to 170 then I will go to 154, which is what the doc says I should be at for my height. We can't all be the same weight though, people are soooo different looking and shaped so different. You will do great!!! I just know you will, especially if you keep on riding your bike....its great exercise and burns a lot of calories..

Lost all my weight and then some! anyone have trouble keeping EVERYTHING DOWN?
areellady replied to klamb1's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes, definitely get that checked out. It can cause serious damage down the road with your esophagus and stomach pouch if you stay too tight a long long time.. -
Definitely ask your doctor. He may want you to wait, just so you don't pull any stitches, or in case you fall. Ask to be sure, then come join us on the bicycling thread.....
