I've been fat my entire life, I've tried countless of weight loss pills, but never really watched what I ate so I decided I should get lap band. I went to the hospital scheduled my date, started my pre-op liquid diet and that's when it hit me....

Well I came 1 week until my lap-band procedure and found outsomething about myself. I was finding it VERY easy to control myself while on the pre-op liquid diet which is basically starving yourself. I figured if I could starve myself without cheating , why couldn't I just control myself regularly?

Much to the dismay of many of the band-cheerleaders on the site who were convinced I'd fail, I post poned my surgery and started a journey without the band. I'm controlling my own portions and fighting the urgest. Fighting the mental monster that was my over eating problem.

If that fails, I'll get the band, but at least I'll know I tried.
