On my way for surgery this morning, its 4.42am in the UK my admission time is 7.00am so hopefully be first on the list. Im feeling a whole lot of different emotions, scared, nervous, excited, relieved! The list could go on and on! Just wanted to say I'm really grateful to have found this site for all the support and encouragement! Will report back later today hopefully!

Think its combination of gas pains and port inscion site! Feels like my stomach muscles have been cut! Quite similar pain that I wad in after having a c section!

Struggling with pian at the mo! The paracetamol the hospital sent me home with, is not even touching the pain. I'm really uncomfortable. Any advice?

I'm home and feeling more rested in my own bed! Gas pain has subsided which is great. The port incision is quite sore but the other cuts are perfect, no discomfort at all. Keeping up with pain meds and have just made myself a smooth chicken cup a soup! Yummy!

Im a new girl on the scene! Currently on pre op diet! Have lost 14lbs. Surgery is next Tuesday! Im in the UK -
I ahave been loosing a minimum of 1lb a day but didnt lose anythi g today but I have been having little bits to eat beacuse I honestly feel like eating my own arm! I am in the Uk so Im guessing our pre op diets are gonna ve slightly different?

My diet is 1.2litres of milk and 2 low fat yoghurts per day pkus lots of water! I have lost 14lbs in my first week, my operation is next Tuesday! Very excited!

Hi there Im on day 2 pre op diet! My surgery is on the 29th august! I have an awful headache today
