Hi! I'm wondering if anyone else has this issue or is it just me... I notice over the last few weeks that I'm not able to eat Breakfast even if I tried . A few minutes later I have this pain in my chest and then i vomit. I'm wondering if anyone else out there has this problem and if so what could help? thank you in advance

you can have crystal light sugar free, Vitamin Water, power aid, smart water was the best for me for it has electorates in it. Hope this is helpful to you, good luck

What protein drinks did you try for the pre-op diet?

I tried muscle milk powder which is the best because it doesn't have that sandy taste to it. Good Luck -
Hi! has anyone had difficulty with mushrooms while being banded? If so how are you able to tolerate them? Any advice is much appreciated

I had no chose but to go with the lap band, since I didn't want any of my insides removed. All I can tell you is I'm in love with my band. Good Luck on your journey and may you have continued success. We are all here for you!!

Congratulations on your weight loss. I feel your frustration your going though, my advise to you is see if maybe your surgeon can squeeze you in somewhere in his schedule, you don't want to play around with things and land up with more problems. Good luck keep us posted . -
Hi! I've been have some trouble with my band this week. I cut and chew really well, wait to be able to drink after but for some reason 15 mins later im puking. Has anyone have this happen before? mind you just last week I had some Fluid removed bc i was too tight any help is greatly appreciated

So for those of you who asked what it was from here goes; a lot of times we cook using different spices, oils ect. which are to hard on the stomach causing us to vomit and feel discomfort. When cooking you should use the simplest methods out there, and after a while go back and see if you can handle it once again. If you experience such an episode be sure to go on liquids right away. It was hard at the very beginning pre op. That is why most doctors have you meet with the nutritionist on their team to better prepare you for what's in store.... Stay strong you can do this!!!

Hi! Im wondering if I have done something wrong.... for I have lost my restriction a couple of weeks ago. sometimes I have the feeling like the band is their doing it job and other times not. Im wondering if I have done something wrong? I have a fill of .2 cc is this the way you feel till you reach your green zone?

Hi! I just got my 1st fill at 6 weeks out and only got .2 ccs in my band as I was still swollen inside around my stoma. I had restriction for 3 weeks and now just in time for my 2nd fill for I have no restriction. As far as your question with sugar cravings you can have high Protein pudding or sugar free ices Best of luck!!

Hi! I got a fill of .2 ccs 2 weeks ago and had little restriction then. But now I find myself with no restriction and gaining weight. I'm wondering if anyone else had this issue and what helped? I'm going in for my 2nd fill on 4/17 Any advice is greatly appreciated

Hi There, I just had lap band surgery a few weeks ago. I was wondering when you go for a fill do you not eat anything or do you need food in your stomach so they can see how much is needed?

Hi There, Just went for my 1st fill this Thursday and thank god I'm off to a good start. I got my band filled with .2 cc and was told if its too tight I should go back and have it emptied. How can you tell if .2 cc is too much for you?

Hi there! Yes it's normal sometimes to be taking your pain meds every four hrs. Each person tolerates pain differently... My advise to you is to follow your doctors orders and you will see with time your wonderful results:)
