I was just sleeved by Dr. ram too on Tuesday, I drank maybe 6 oz of Water yesterday, trying a shake this morning, just do not feel like eating at all. This gas thing in my chest is bad too, I pray for you too, hope ot gets better.

I can home yesterday, bad gas pains, not nauseas at all, but can only drink fluids pudding, makes me gag. More pain than I expected, glad everyone is doing well.

I am going in tomorrow, Good Luck to everyone. Will check in when I can. My nerves are so bad right now.

My doctor only put me on meat, and veggies only diet a week before. I go on 8/6, I am craving bread, and sweets. I know this is all in my head. I keep thinking positive thoughts, you will be fine. I was kind of worried, I read others on shakes before, my doctor does not do that, makes me a lil worried.

I too have told people now I am dieting so that way after my surgery on 8/6 they may not think anything. I told my family, but due to the fact I do not appear overwheight my friends will never undertsand. I know when we go out next and I do not drink and grab the nachos they will think I am crazy !!

My NUT told me to do half non-calf and half regular, to decrease the caffiene but not until after 3 weeks out, hmmm.

I am scheduled August 6th, freaking out a bit. Reading some stories on here is scary. Positive thoughts...lol

I was advised 60-80 a day minimum

My surgery is 8/6, and I was told only protien and veggies a week before. No word yet on what to do the day before surgery, I have my final paperwork and meet with my doctor on 7/29. I did try to watch what I eat now, and tried some shakes that I really like so far. I see on here how different all surgeons instructiosn are, and get a bit worried about the inconsistency with per-op diet, etc.

That is going to be so hard for me, I drink a lot. I am trying to do it now, and it is harder than I thought.

I am getting surgery on 8/6, and I have to say I almost cancelled it twice. Then I come on here and look at all the positive comments. I start to think of my health improving, and looking to buying clothes and being excited again is keeping me going. I went to eat last night, and I have to admite I had nachos, knowing it may have been my last time indulging in that quantity agin. I tried protein shakes, and actually like them.Good luck, keep us updated.

I too am hearing I am taking the easy way out. I beg to differ, this decision is not easy, and is very hard to maintain. My health has declined and at 41 I have high BP high cholesterol,and borderline diabetes, and now after my test sleep apnea. To the naked eye, I appear to look " chunky" not overweight I wear it well, I have been told. The bottom line is, it is your life and you did what was best for you. You look amazing, I hope I look that good in a year

Very true, I used to live to eat, now I will eat to live. I am getting excited! Thinking of being more confident, is so awesome. Starting to try protein shakes this week just to see what they are like.

I did the same. Read too many stories on line. I think it all depends on you, if you really want this like I am sure you do, you will be fine. I know how you feel, just think positive. I am here for ya, We will lift each other up when we fall!

Good for you! My daughter and I do all inclusive every year, this year we went to Mexico. Food paradise and drink paradise! I was thinking about next year, will it suck!

Think positive, that is what I am doing. It is the "not knowing" that is killing you, That is what I am worried about. Everyone has a different experince, but my feeling is that in the end it is a new life and a new challenge. Great days are ahead Good luck check in when you can

I could imagine how you feel, I am getting my sleeve in 8/6 and am a ball of nerves. My mind is racing, I wish you luck and just know we are all here to support you in anyway possible.

How do you feel? He seems great, he did my endoscopy last week, very cool and collected.

I am having surgery with Dr. Ram at Fitz Mercy on 8/6, excited !!!!!! Need to have a 2nd sleep study, with a CPAP on 7/19, but it is all good....
