I worked from home the next day and did fine. I went on a 500 mile round trip on a Harley at day 17. You should be fine. Just be sure to get up and walk especially with travel to prevent blood clots. I was off pain meds day two as the pain was totally tolerable. Good luck!

Just banded and uncomfortable after eating

Banded July 30th. I too gained 2 pounds and was told it was the iv fluids they pump in you during surgery. The first 2 days were the same for me. Just take smaller sips and day 4 was really when all the gas had left me and I was able to sip fluids without discomfort! Day 8 now and my stomach growls constantly but I feel great! Take it one day at a time! -
