I just found out my band has slipped. I have been suspicious of it for a while though. I have been throwing up, acid re-flux and pain in my right arm and shoulder. I am waiting on insurance to approve the procedure and scared they won't. Has anyone had trouble with insurance approving it?

I have had my lap band for 3 1/2 years now. I am very happy with my weight loss of 120 lbs and have maintained it. I started having trouble keeping food down about a month ago. I don't know if I am still eating too fast of too much. It is a hard habit to break. My doctor loosened my band, but I am still having trouble. I have this annoy feeling that there is something in my throat and discomfort. It hurts but not real bad pain. Is this the symptom of a slipped band? harleymin13

Unfortunalty my doctor is on vacation next week.

I have a doctors appointment on Aug 12th. I will probably drop more wight by then because I afraid to eat. It either hurts or makes me really uncomfortable.
