pre op liquids only and not feeling well

Anyone else have just a 'bleck' feeling from the protein shakes during pre op diet? I'm wondering if it is just cuz I have not really had them before, or what. -

My surgeon is Marsden as well! I have been going thru as many of the forum questions as possible before Friday. I'm not too worried about the pain. I have an extremely high tolerance, and I've had another laparoscopic procedure before for female stuff, plus two c-sections. Thanks for the tips!

Anyone have any feedback on how to deal with friends and/or family that is unsupportive? I've been told that I should be able to lose the weight like a normal person if I tried hard enough, that I'm taking the easy way out, among others. I've stopped sharing with anyone that I'm having surgery except for this site and a couple friends that have had a bariatric procedure.

I've already got the travel insurance for the trip. I'm actually trying to move my date up to give a little more time before travel. If that doesn't work, I'm going to evaluate from there. -

I did tell them I'd be flying, and there did not seem to be an issue. I'll check again tho, especially for the clot issues. To me, being on liquid is easier for the trip... I'm loaded up on unjury products to take. I guess my resistance in waiting is that I'm so ready to move forward after being stuck so long. I don't want to wait any longer than I have to. Thanks for the input -
I'm in Wylie... I've done a ton of research already. I'm ready to go, just want to be sure i have not missed anything.
