Listen to your dr. If he requires a pre op diet do not cheat! It's hard but it will prepare you for afterwards. I had a smooth operation just a little nausea. Stayed out of work for one week and worked from home the 2nd week

I had my surgery on the 16th, a few days before her. I just started purees. Each dr is different

I had a revision to sleeve in March 16th. No problems whatsoever!! I am so happy to have that devil band out! You'll do just fine! -

Hope everyone is doing good! It's been pretty good the past 2 days. Getting all my protein in and close on the water. I'm getting hungry though. It seems like in losing about 1 lb per day right now. How's everyone else? -
Oh Yeah! and premier protein are the best I've found.

I am one week PO today also. I'm down 8lbs since surgery and on a full liquid diet. I see my surgeon Friday for my follow up. He warned me not to introduce any foods until I saw him for my follow up. I'm sticking to his rules. I feel great no pain or anything. Just trying to get back in the swing of things

I'm 4 days pot op and on full liquids. I walk very hour after drinking my protein. My stomach is a little sore but no pain. Other than that I just sit and relax. I feel like I should be doing more. What were you doing the first week post op? -

I'm 5 days post op and can sip pretty well. Im worried that I may be drinking too much at a time but it doesn't hurt -

I'm trying to up my protein today to 4 oz an hour. I do have a light schedule and should enjoy it. I'm just ready to get back to normal I guess -

I have to stay another night also. I'm really nauseaus and can't drink a lot. I tried a Popsicle and got sick. Hopefully tomorrow will be better for us all -

Glad everyone made it through! I'm still sucking on ice chips waiting on my upper GI. I am sooo thirsty! My pain this time is nothing compared to the lap band surgery -

I had my surgery too. All went well. My hubby said I was only in the OR for an hour and that was with a band removal. I've walked once and ver comfortable. Hope everyone's went well! -

I'm having a lap band to sleeve revision tomorrow as well. Best wishes to you as your journey moves forward! I'm soooo ready too, been on full liquids and now clear liquids today. Eager to be on the other side of this surgery! Let do this! Congrats to you! -

That's hardly any protein. Did your doctor give you a diet to follow? While awake my dr said to try to sip on a protein drink every hour and water

JULY 2013 BAND BUDDIES

Went today for my 4 week post op. Down 16 lbs since surgery. My dr was pleased. I told him I felt hungry a lot so he did an x ray after I swallowed some barium. He said everything looked fine an to my surprise he said he would give me a fill. So I had 2 cc in my band already so he just bumped it up to 3 cc. Liquids for the next 24 hours ???” Hopefully I won't feel hungry -
I start mushies! Please give me all your suggestions! What is/was your typical mushie day?

I'm 2 weeks out and moving to full liquids and some mushies. I have bad diarrhea. Is that normal?
