    Go to Foods

What are some go to food. Something that stays with the band food rules and is easy to have or get when you are out and about. Or even if you are home.

    Go to Foods

Wow thanks for all the ideas. I am getting an adjustment on Thursday after being unrestricted for a long time. It sounds like the best thing for me to do is to be prepared. And stop and think to make a good choice.

    I need help and Support

I too was banded in 2007 and gaining the weight back. Starting from the beginning is good advice. For me its stopping the liquid calories, trying to burn some calories everyday, I have a job that I sit at all day. And solid Protein in the appropriate measurements, 3 oz and stopping after one serving not grazing. Best of luck.
  4. Does anyone else have this, when your head is stuffy by allergies and the mucus runs down into your stomach. Does it make the band tighter in the morning.

    stuffy head and band tight

Thanks for all your replies. I have been banded since feb 2007. Lost 100 pounds and put 40 back on. I don't have much in my band right now and have a appt in 2 weeks to get some back in. Took a break from the band thing, I found I was having too many liquid calories. Really need to get back to solid protein and work the band.
  6. I had my lapband placed in Feb 2007, for the past week and a half i have the tight feeling pretty much all day. liquids do go down but they gurgle with each swallow. I am in no pain, and I am not tight, last summer i had some Fluid taken out, and my band has never been constantly too tight. I have started a new job and cant really take time off, unless there is a real emergency to get an adjustment until after August. But I do have an appointment on Aug 15, I have to travel to Chicago to my doctor and am self pay at this time. I guess my question is, should I just make sure I am getting enough liquids in and some food, and wait and see. I have had this before, but never this length of time. Usually it was just a couple of days. Only bad thing is there has been no weight loss.
