Congrats! Sleeved started pre-op diet December 17th at 397 lbs and sleeved December 31st. Down to 322 today! And as of last weekend I no longer shop for clothes in the big and tall section!

Also haven't been on here in a while! Down 25 lbs since my surgery on December 31st. Down 52 total since the start of my liquid diet on December 17th!! BOOM!!!

Well the surgery went well and hospital stay wasn't bad at all once the anesthesia made it's way out of my system. Barely any pain in the abdomen. Only thing to complain about is that I'm getting the hiccups for long periods of time. Hope everyone else who had their's done on the 31st is doing well. -

I'm December 31st too!!!! How is your pre op diet going? I am also December 31st. Happy new year to us. Couldn't think of a better way to start 2014. -

Surgery set for December 31st (Happy New Year) and started liquid diet yesterday. First day was a struggle but feeling a lot better today. -
Yesterday was day 1 of liquid diet and we had a work meeting with Pizza and wings and the fact that I couldnt have any was a struggle. Now on day 2 and feel a lot better. I would say that those struggling with liquid diet really just have to push through the first couple days.

I am also Scheduled for the 31st. We'll be toasting water from the hospital.

List of protein shakes

I have a list of bariatric-friendly protein shakes that my dietician gave me that has some really good ones you can mix up. Most notably the orange dreamsicle, pumpkin pie, apple pie, s'mores, chocolate peanut butter, and caramel latte among many others. If you want me to send you the recipe for a few let me know.
