Hello. I had the band on Feb 27 2015. Is there anyone from Aurora or close by that would like to chat it would be great. I have lost 15lbs in one week. I'm so excited can wait for spring. I'll be out this year, smelling the flowers, watching the birds and taking my dogs out for a walk. I started 245lbs. We'll talk to you later

I'm having surgery on Friday. I went to my family doctor Dr Bajwa and she told me I was the third person she saw getting ready for the surgery with doctor Woodard. Let me know if your on this site lets stay in touch.

I had my surgery yesterday and everything went well. Thank God. I did feel very gassy I took the pain medicine and I slept great.

I haven't try to eat nothing solid yet. Nurse told me liquids for two weeks. Third week purée food. Fourth solid but CHEW CHEW CHEW the food.

That will do it. Salt! If there a gym you go to if they have a sauna try going and that will help you a lot. And drink water

Hello. I feel great today! I lost 15lbs since February 27 2015. No pain no gas. Can't wait till my doctors appt next Monday.

Hello I'm curious they say to drink liquids until you feel full the first week. But more or less how many ounces should you have?

I stop when I felt full but it's is drinking little bits . Less than 3oz and it helps a lot. I was just curious what everyone was drinking. Thanks

Scared, Scared, Scared - Lap Band Surgery Date coming up Jan.30, 2015

I'm scared to I will have surgery February 10 and what makes me look forward is summer is coming and I will be looking less because of the weight. I'm 56 and I think about putting me under but all I can do is pray. I hope all goes well for you.
