Thank you for the information. I was in a different chat on another site and someone hacked the site. I had to be sure.

Who are you @@Alex Brecher and @@Dannipo? Neither of you started this chat and I see that you are posting the same message in many different chats. If you're not here for the discussion I ask that you not advertise here or whatever it is you guys are doing.

I'm feeling a little down today. But not discouraged. I've lost a couple of pounds but lately its been stuck at the same weight. I know its good im not gaining weight. I think its has to do with me not being able to workout because of severe pain. My vitamin d levels keep dropping. My surgeon put me back on the prescription vitamin d (once every 5 days for 12 weeks) instead of my usual once evey 7 days regimen. I also had to see my Orthopedic because I injured my arm and have bone pain. I have Osteoarthritis due to prolonged exposure to low vitamin d levels. Now it has spread throughout my body and he has recommended I see a Rheumatologist. I want to be able to workout so bad. But I dont want to keep straining or fracturing my bones. I've already had a broken ankle, leg, toe, tail bone, both wrist, and almost all of my fingers. Just needed to vent.

@@Marathongirl I will keep you and your father in my prayers. Also, or know its hard but try substituting some of what you're eating for some fruit to help you get back on track. Hang in there. You'll be ok.

Hi I'm Rennae, I've been looking for local support groups and fitness pals in my area. But it doesn't seem to be that many or they're out there and I just haven't found them yet.

MD Meeting: Where & When?

Hi, welcome to the group. You're the first person to respond since my post. I know there is a group on Facebook. But I can't find it. Hopefully, I'll find it soon. -
I understand how people get discouraged. I went to have a test done to make sure my band was still in place and functioning via my doctors orders. The Radiologist said it was still in place but empty. I went for a fill on Tuesday and was turned away. I was told the doctor I was scheduled to see is refusing to see me because another doctor didn't explain to him the purpose of my visit. This is a Biatrics office with a team of doctors that supposed to work togather. How hard is it to take the time to read a patients chart? Also, other patients were in the waiting area complaining how bad the doctor attitude was and how they didn't want to see him any more. I had my surgery done at Washington Hospital Center in DC by Dr. Finelli. He is an awesome doctor. Its one of the other doctors that doesn't seem to like dealing with patients. So, I started to give up as well and never go back. But I said I'll try again and request my appointments to be scheduled with my doctor only.

MD Meeting: Where & When?

I had my surgery a couple of years ago. I lost alot of weight and was doing well. My son got real sick and later passed away. I suffered from depression for years without realizing it. That's when everything went down hill for me. But luckily someone finally noticed and I got the help I needed. I'm happy to say im off the depression medication and back to my smiling self. Now, I have to get back on track with my diet, exercise, and losing weight. It hasn't been easy. But im trying. I live in DC. Im looking for support. A buddy on a constant basis. We can help each other. Im thinking that may be the way to go for me. -
