Does your doc have a Lap band restriction guide "aka the zones" anywhere in his exam room? It talks about being in the yellow zone not enough Fluid and what that feels like, green sone and red zone? Yellow is where you are not loosing, not having staiety with your meals "hungry all the time" Green: this is where you want to stay for good wt. loss. proper satisfaction with a small amount of food. can go several hours 3-4 hrs. w/o hunger no sticking or reguritation, heartburn. and good steady wt. loss Red: this is where you should never be or if you do find yourself here get to your surgon for unfill. Poor food choices(sliders softs, things that go easily thru the band) Can't eat without pain things won't stay down(you throwing up or productive burp alot) or you just plain out get stuck and have to vomit. Some folks get shoulder pain in the left shoulder when they are to tight. hope this helps.

stalledoutstartingover replied to kca1fan's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I did not think that loosing weight would change my marriage. but it has some things are better and some things are worse. For the better my husbandf likes to take me shopping for clothes he says I look good in everything. for the bad : i use to do al lthe houswork and cooking and cleaning I now need time wo work out and I"m seeing that ui'm still doing it all I ant my husband jut to help out a little and maybe go for a walk with me before work and he wont. I notice he's gaining weight and i feel like he should be trying tro get healthy with me not gaining weight. -
work your way up to jogging/running. walk first you will get tired then as that becomes easier after you have walked for about fifteen min. go for a jog for as long as you can(till u feel u might not take anymore) then slow down and walk. do this in intervals untill you are jogging more then walking. it helps to strengthen the heart also. but be sure u are cleared for jogging/running some people are restricted in their abilites due to cardiac problems, joint disorders and certian eye conditions.
