What do they do? I just have a band so how does the plication work with the band? Very interested.

My dr was talking about this a while back. Never heard of it before or since. You have inspired me to look on you tube now. Do you know of any one who has had it done?

The reason I got the band in the first place was because I had tried so many diets in my life and never could be successful. Yes I did want to loose weight. ..if I could have done it without the band I would have. Isn't it the whole point of getting a band to loose weight? Not just a tool for maintenance after somone has already lost weight by themselves? -

I too have not been using my band for over a year. I was having trouble with food getting stuck all the time, which was probably more my fault. Any way I have booked in to get some fill in 3 weeks. Over the last year i have put on 25kg as I have been eating all the time. I am tired, have sore ankles and joints. I need to get back with the band.. glad I came across this group. -

I have an empty band and drink fizzy drinks a lot and never had a problem. The drink just flows through. I am not doubting your Dr advice. Maybe he has his reasons and opinions. It's better for your health to stay off fizzy drinks. -

Hi I have had my band empty for over a year. I am going back in 3 weeks to get some fill. At the moment I can eat anything and drink anything. I also have put on 25kg. Hope this helps.
