I was banded on the third.... So just a few days ahead if you all. HANG ON. YOUR ALMOST AROUND THE CORNER. I have noticed I feel better yesterday n today than I have for a week. ( and I pooped today which really helped, TMI, I know) I have also had the issue of really feeling bloated and ugh after drinking more than a sip. See doc tomorrow and will let you know what he says.

Have been banded since 9/3 and have developed the oddest sensation in my stomach..... Not sure if it's gas rumbles, hunger or of my stomach actually hurts. I know this sounds strange. But the feeling doesn't last long, it isn't intense, it's just strange!!! Prob all my missing burps having a party without me.

Omg L- am I going to have to come to your house and cook for you? Lmao!! Baby food sucks!! Have been making up small portions of different food and freezing them for the past 3 weeks. I have steak, Mac n cheese, sweet potato, chick breast..... All the foods I use to eat, in small freezer containers I can hook onto my processor and buzzzzzz. I have food!!

Mushiness are when you grow up to be able to have baby food. Lol. Seriously. Progression from full liquids to food includes a time of eating mushies. Looking forward to malt o meal

They sent me in a prescription for a nausea patch cause I am a barfer when I wake up. Also my pain meds.

Well I have had my band placed (9/3) my mom offered to come stay with me for a few days. Cool help with cooking n laundry. And she bring in 2- 1/2 gallons of ice cream. Package of Oreos. Makes the guys a cheesecake. REALLY!!!! Thanks a lot?!

This is my last pre-op post. (well. Prob not !). I am on my way to surgical suites to be banded in one hour twenty minutes. The nerves have set in. Tears have started .... It's all good. Just nervous. Will be over soon. ( sooner if I could SMOKE!!! And have a DIET DEW.). But those are of the past.

Can't you have puddings and Soups? I am on edge of my chair waiting to get some pudding or malt o meal. Lol. That's terrible huh. Most people want steak. I'll take malt o meal.

Surgery was text book easy. Recovering is killing me. The gas pains are a pain in the ...,.,,,,, trying to sleep, only happens for an hour or two at a time. This will pass. And then. Make way for the new me!!! Oh yeah.

Well I wasn't telling anyone; have told a select few. Of course the ex knows now (he gets to play chauffeur for the kids while I recover) and has been totally negative. Told a friend (whose same size if not larger) was very negative (well IF I WAS BIG ENOUGH I'D DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT TOO) lmao!!!! The few others I have told have been surprised but supportive. Pre op I have only lost 12 pounds (dr expected 5) so no one has questioned that. Band day is tomorrow!!!
