JULY 2013 BAND BUDDIES

I've been a little apprehensive about starting to exercise, however I spoke with a friend last night about something that might help. I downloaded c25k 5k trainer, its free and supposed to take you from couch to being able to do a 5k in some period of time. I am not sure the time period I didn't do that much research on it and after day 1 I'm actually looking forward to day 2. It started out with a 5 min warm up then alternated between 60 sec of jogging and 90 sec or walking (20 min total) then a 5 min cool down for a complete 30 mins. I actually laughed at the app when it said begin running. Instead of running I increased the incline and speed on the treadmill then when it told me to begin walking I dropped it back down. To be honest I didn't think i would make it through the entire 30 mins but I am goal oriented and kept an eye on the timer and kept telling myself to push forward. You also have the option to listen to music while doing it and it will interrupt and tell you to speed up or walk or cool down. -

I guess that's what I'm experiencing. Little annoying but hopefully it goes away soon. -

The pain is more of a pressure. It could be gas but it really feels like I'm incredibly full and miserable. I'm going to try drinking slower but I had my shake at 9 am and didn't start feeling this way until around 4 this afternoon. And I had a ton of water in that time frame. Just weird to me that's all. -

Hey everyone I was banded on 7-12-13 and really have had little to no pain until today. Not sure what's going on. I have had more water today than any other day. I'm on straight liquids and only 1 protein shake today. I just feel like I've gone to a buffet and now have to wheeled out. Anyone else felt this way? Other than that I'm down 42 lbs. 30 pre op diet and 12 post op.
