Hi.. i got banded almost 2years.. for a couple of months now ive been having bad bloating and sometimes acid reflux. I havent had a fill in about a year.. i get a gurgling sound as well with my bloating.. i can pass down food no problem i have not been throwing up or wake up coughing so i really dont know.. ive made an appt but they dont have an appy until may 5th.. in the mean time, should i just stick to a liquid diet? Im seriously like bloated all day.. i am getting so tired of it SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

It just started today.. I got banded july 19th everything has been going great but as of today where my port is at its getting a little discomfort i really am hoping its not a slippage :/ has anyone experienced this? I will be callig the doctor tomorrow morning but just wanting to see what you guys think it is.. Thanks in advance

I had lost 30lbs in total in 3 weeks then i started gaining weight. Im getting my first fill today after a month and a half of surgery! Im trying to go back in just drinking liquids but its hard now for some reason. I know the doctor wont be happy with how much ive gained i feel so discouraged

Okay i got my surgery almost two months ago and i just dont know what to eat. Mostly everything has carbs. Is there a website where i can find recipes? Im trying so hard not to eat so much carbs but it seems impossible.. Please help someone

I had my surgery july 19th so im new.. Just wondering is there anything else i can do to relieve this gas? Im walking taking gas-x it helps a little. How long does this gas pain last? I really wanted to go back to work sunday please any advise

A week?? Oh my! I really hope mine doesnt last too long. Have you done anything else besides walking and taking gas -x?

For the diet is the doctor suppose to give you the diet instructions or do you just do it on your own. My surgery is suppose to be this coming up friday but nothing was emailed to me about any specific instructions for the diet and they did in fact tell me that i will be on a 5 day liquid diet. Thanks but everything went good today. Got my lapband the 19th took forever tho. I have bad gas pain. Does anyone know anything else besides gas ex to relieve this gas. I cant sleep! I walk alot as well so idk

Im going thru true results. I talked to them monday they just told me drink anything i can take thru a straw low carbs and low fat.. I live in fort worth. Tomorrow im doing the EGD then friday is surgery day. Im extremely nervous because i have mild sleep apnea and i thought i was suppose to give me something to make it better but im guessing i didnt need it!

Also had another question. I was told i was going to be billed a seperate amount for the EGD. Do i need to pay that on the day of or will the bill be sent to me and i would have to pay it in full

Thats what i was thinking of doing. I just drank creamy soup. Is that okay? I dont even know what to eat :/
