    What not to say to somebody who is getting a band...

    I am only going on my second week post op and already the constant judging of every thing I put in my mouth. Telling me what I need to be doing, what I am doing is wrong...blah blah blah.

    What To Eat ! Post Op Week 2

    I am just starting my post-op week 2. My instructions say that I can include to my clear liquids more creamier soups, puréed foods. Tonight I puréed some green beans. It took a little bit to get past the looks and texture...but at this point I will try just about anything new.

    I guess it would depend on what kind of juice & how much sugar is in it. Drink juice but it only has 1 carb per serving. I am just not a plain Water loving kind of person...so I choose things with none or very few calories with low sugar content. And I sip in them all day.

    Um, really???

    I was just banded July 10th. I was miserably starving even though I had been sipping on broth and other liquids all day. My saving grace has been egg drop soup from the Chinese restaurant. I just strain all the big chunks out. It keeps me satisfied for longer. Also someone told me tomato soup was good...just add more water to lighten it up. They are more hearty I guess and stick with you longer. Just a suggestion.
