In the last 2 months, I have either had kidney stones or gallbladder stones 3 times. I'm guessing more kidneys because of my symptoms. The pain starts on the right side of my back and then pushes my port out, causing pain. My port area swells about the size of a grapefruit; to the point I can grab the whole area in my hand. At times, the port pain is more uncomfortable than the kidney stones. Has this ever happened to anyone? I'm making an appt with my surgeon today, but wanted to ask before the office opens.
-
I will keep you posted. Thanks

So the pain has gone away, and the swelling has gone down. Its so weird! I have an appt to see my surgeon.
-
Yes, my question is more if anyone has had kidney stones and had your port swell the size of a grapefruit? It feels like something is pushing up against my port.
-
will do.

I gave up meat because it was hard for me but I do not miss it. I eat anything I want in moderation but choose to eat healthy. Clean food taste so much better than that cheap food I used to eat.

Thought I would be amongst people who understood...

Agreed! I understand your point and I understand hers. But seriously, if you feel something is a scam, just ignore it and dont click on the link. No need to result to name calling and being all in her personal business. These same people took the time to research her and find out her personal relationship that she is married to a military man. None of that was anyones business. Simple way of dealing with something suspicious-LEAVE IT ALONE! Not go and investigate and proceed to ask questions. -

I'm guessing this is due to your previous post? I do have to agree, some people on this forum can be very harsh at times. I dont understand it because when we all started this journey, we were all in the same boat. Looking for insurance coverage, finding a doctor, filing out medical documentation, nervous as hell, and then, trying to figure out a new way of living. I dont know your personal background is or care to investigate your husband because he was in a military uniform. Obviously, you are looking for a way to get this procedure and you must have done your homework (I hope). I am at work and cannot click on your link, but will definitely have no issue later. Here is my FB link. Request me as a friend and I will look into voting for your procedure. www.facebook.com/jessica.osorio.790 Good luck! -
I am seeing a repeat pattern of potato and corn. The two worse starches ever! Take both of them out of your diet, ASAP! These are not healthy veggies. Potato and corn is what help get us so overweight. Basically, eat everything you never ate before.

I love my Breville.

I love veggies but I know I do not get the recommended 8 servings of fruit and veggies every day. I would juice the veggies and add sweet fruits like apples, pears, and strawberries to give it a much sweeter taste. If not, I use my Greens supplement every day!!!! I put 1 pack in my Water or my Protein shake and that equals 8 servings of fruit and veggies. It has 38 superfoods and herbs and tastes just like berries while giving me energy and daily detox. It can be mixed in anything from water, to juice (low cal low sugar). Check it out. http://www.showstopperwraps.myitworks.com/shop/product/311/

In the beginning, salads are hard to go down. But now, I eat salads all the time. I just have to make sure I have enough dressing on it and cut it into little pieces.

How much have you loss? Since 2009 I only loss 40 is that on point?Dom
Fit4Me replied to NOLADARLING's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I was banded April 2009 and I've lost 100lbs. Most of my weight in the first 2 years, now I'm just maintaining losing a few pounds a year. I'm at my goal so I'm not worried about losing anymore, just working on maintaining. If you do do see this as a life change, and focus on your new eating habits and exercise routine, you will not be successful. Speak to a nutritionist, or contact me and I can help you and show you what I did, and still do. -
I use a 30 day supply of Vitamin pack that has 3 Multivitamins, 2 minerals, and 1 Omega 3. I can swallow all the pills. Obviously, not all 5 pills at once. I take one at a time and wait to feel it pass before I take the next one. I love this Vitamins because its coated with a mint coating and its real smooth to swallow. Don't stop taking your vitamins, even if you have to blend them in your Protein shake. Taking these 3 vitamins has improved my hair, nails, and skin; they also give me energy. http://www.showstopperwraps.myitworks.com/shop/product/317/

Oh wow! Mine is not like that yet, but I think I will be soon. I definitely feel my port a lot more now that I've lost the belly fat. I am a stomach sleeper and some days I wake up in pain. This has only been going within the last year.
