I am so glad I found this! LBT has been my go to since I was banded in July...this year. I have been doing great, however, I have started having these issues. Love the support of this page! Thanks Guys!!!! -
I was banded July 9. I've lost 50+ pounds. This morning I've had pain at my port site. Its like a ripping sensation. A couple of weeks ago I noticed a small bit of pain, but I figured it was regular healing. This is far worse. Around the site is pinkish..... normal or just part of the process?

I have my Lapband put in tomorrow! I'm excited, nervous, scared, and anxious all at the same time. I look forward to connecting to some of you guys for support, recipes, and an occasional "you can do it!"..... Thanks!

I made it through this morning..... I'm not going to lie when I got to the hospital I was seriously rethinking this! I made it through and it went quickly..... they told my hubs I was asking could I walk when they woke me up. I'm sore....but I KNOW it was the right thing for me. I had not weighed during my liquid diet.....but when they weighed me I was 15 down...yay. I'll update more soon! Thanks for thoughts and encouragement! -
