Hi there! Welcome to the club. I got banded on the 11th, I took a week off work. However I live in NYC and traffic here is crazy. So I ended up taking off two weeks because I wanted to make sure my incisions had healed properly. -

Yay!!! Congrats, glad to hear your feeling good. All I can recommend is walk, walk, walk, walk, walk. It helps a whole lot when it comes to gas pains. -

YAY!!! Welcome to the other side...lol. The gas pain gets better with time. I recommend walking. I've been walking everywhere since surgery and its helped out a ton. Don't rush it though, take your time. -

I am doing good. Gas is starting to go away. I've been walking a lot which helps a ton! I gotta admit I'm starting to feel pretty awesome. For those who are still waiting to get banded, try not to stress. It'll be over before you know it. My prayers are with all of you. -

Sweet baby GAS!! It is loud and grumbly. I'm kinda uncomfortable but so so happy that I've gotten the band. Let the new life begin!!! How's everybody else doing? -
