I hear ya Rj.. when it is an obsession stay away... I go to Panera bread with my friends and they laugh when i go up to the window with all the pastries and say Hello old lover!! Silly I know, but they are like an ex-lover and then I order a great salad with chicken and strawberries and I am a Happy camper. RJ, be strong and stay away from the old junk and stay strong!!

I have an appointment to get my hair cut next week and my hair dresser is going to try a little microcurrent to wake up the hair folicals!! That a deep condition treatment and I hoping it will bring back the fullness of my hair. She said when you go through surgery your hairline thins out by your temples of your hair line especially from the anthesia. It will take a few months but soon baby hairs should be coming in.

Some times you just need to take a bite of the food you are craving. What i do is measure a small amount of that food that i just want to try again. Then I immeidately put the rest away or dare i say put it in the garabage disposal. Perfect example, I made waffle's this morning for my daughter and her friend. It is the type that is made out of hearts and form a circle. I broke off a piece chewed it and then realized "This waffle that was so good in my past tasted good. But it wasnt that "Fabulas"... but i had an awe ha moment.. The rest went down the garbage disposal.

Perhaps he is just feeling insecure of loosing you after all the weight loss. It is important to just talk with him and ask if it the physical changes or is there something you all need to talk about.

Few days post op breast lift w/out implant
BellaHugz replied to Krystalrez's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
There is a healing period and your body and breast will adjust to surgical lift you had. I agree it is extremly important to talk with your surgeon and ask questions too. I had one when I was younger, the funny thing is how sensitive my breast are after all these years. -

Stall is depressing me :-(
BellaHugz replied to TheWigster's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hang in there everyone who is stalling, it is normal. Our bodies need to adjust to the new tummy and digesting the food we put in it. Also at the 3-4 wk phase it is known as the time that people can stall. Be encouraged it will pass, I know it is not easy. At 3-4 weeks I added food and exercise so my body really had to adjust. I had a long stall, no fun mean while hubby was getting encouraged from my surgery to lose weight too so every day he would announce he lost X lbs and he was lighter then me.. i almost killed him. I stalled for 7 wks... yep it is true now ya wanna talk about being depressed. So I started increasing my Water, really watching what i put in my mouth Protein.. watched the sugar intake too. Carbs are sneaky lil ~~~~~~~ fill in the blanks. I listened to the vets who said measure your self, take photos front, side and back and keep on moving. It worked.. My energy levels increased and then the weight came off. Best of all my new tummy and I are best of buds. It works, have faith. FYI I weigh less then hubby now and i get to announce the scale moving!! So be encouraged, dont give up.. be your own best Cheerleader!! -
My mom passed away and now it is hard to stay on track.
BellaHugz posted a topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hello Vets, I thought I would ask the experinced sleevers this question and maybe others can help too. My family and i spent the week in ICU my mom had an infection in her lungs and passed away. While we were there I did take shakes/water with me to have before and after but I got off track with my eatting on schedule. Now that things have settled down and I am home I am having a hard time getting all my protein in. Any suggestions would be helpful. I am not sure if this is normal or should I be worried? Thanks -

So sad to see another great and funny guy die at such a young age because of complications and related issues from obesity. I lost my father by 54 because of obesity related issues too and it is so sad to see a talented life end before it is time.. We also lost Micky Rooney today.. I bet there is alot of joyful hugs and laughter in heaven today.

@@madam, I love this new ligo "ShitOmeter" once again I have a smile on my face to your response. @ Indigo, I have going to copy this picture and put it on my FB..

MrsRRN~ if it sounds like jealous and it acts like jealous... then it is jealousy the big ole green eye'd monster. Your response to her was nothing more then supportive. Your attitude for having a healthier and happier life is not dependant on her approval. Post on your FB page done be jealous just make the call : ) Remember some people are in your life for a reason, a season and a life time. Who you have in it is up too you! Just like food, you need to decide if he/she is supportive or not supportive and weed out the weeds in your life (kind like junk food). Have a happy and healty life!! You deserve it baby!!

Travel? Where in the USA would you take your dream vacation? Why?
BellaHugz replied to Kitt3000's topic in The Lounge
I would make a bucket list of the top place I want to go and see. With all the money you save from your WLS you can afford to go on trips and feed your body, soul and spirit with the beauty all around you. I would love to start in Hawaii go through all the Island then head over to Alaska and then make my way through all the National parks. California and the East Coast are my favorites too, yet then again the Southern states would be a wonder to explore as well. There is so much to see and planning your trip is half the fun, enjoy the trip with love ones is the other half.
