Hi. I had my surgery last July. Since my pre-op liquid diet, I've lost about 90 pounds. I feel great but have reached a plateau. I haven't lost a pound in the last two months or so. I exercise about 4 days a week. Any suggestions on how to get my weight loss moving again? Thanks!

Since my surgery, I sneeze all the time. Sometimes, 6 in a row. I never used to do that. Some people have said it happens when they eat too much. Mine just happens whenever. It must be just a coincidence, but sure is strange.

Went for a fill today. Since my surgery on July 17, I've lost 36 pounds and since my preop in May, a total of 54 pounds. Dr. said my weight loss is excellent. . I get a little discouraged sometimes because I don't think it's coming off fast enough but I keep reminding myself "slow and steady wins the race!" Feeling good!!

Can the Ninja also be used as a food processor? I only have a blender. I saw the Ninja at BB and B, but wasn't sure about it.

On the last day of my post op liquid diet, I had a little nervous breakdown because I was so hungry. But, when I was able to have yogurts and sugar free puddings, I felt like a brand new woman!! I'm a month and a half post op and have lost 40 pounds since my pre op liquid diet. Feeling good! Hang in there. It gets better!!! ???Š

I bought Weight Loss Surgery Cookbook for Dummies. It has recipes that are easy to follow along with lots of helpful tips. I really like it!

Syntrax sells a sample pack of their nectar line. It was around 13 dollars for 13 flavors. Google Syntrax nectar and go to their website. I really loved the Caribbean Cooler flavor!!

I really like the premixed Premier chocolate shakes. I also like to Strawberry and Creme Lean premixed from GNC. Today I tried the Syntrax nectar Caribbean Cooler and it was yummy!

I have that fear every time I am sedated. I had my surgery on the 17th and I was a nervous wreck. i said lots of prayers. The last thing i remember the anesthesiologist saying is "I am going to take good care of you" and she did. I think it is a normal fear. Good luck!

Thank you all. I am on the way home now. Surgery went smoothly. I am having some discomfort but not severe. When I get home, it will be much better.

Heading to hospital for surgery! Had a hard time sleeping last night! Anxious, nervous, excited... So many emotions!

Doing my clear liquids today cause tomorrow is the big day!! Yay!

My surgery is July 17th! Going shopping tomorrow for my clear liquid and post op diet. So excited and a bit nervous too! I had to do my two week liquid diet in May because I'm part of a study. Lost 18 pounds and have been struggling to keep it off during the month and a half between it and my surgery. Put a few of the 18 pounds back on, but not all Thank God.

Hi. I have my surgery scheduled for next week. I was wondering how long after surgery do you think it would be ok to take a long road trip?

I am involved in a study and found out Monday I will be getting my lapband surgery in July. I'm waiting for the surgeon to contact me to set the date. With the study, I had to do my two week liquid diet prior to approval. So, I made it through the two weeks without cheating once. I lost 18 pounds. It was not as difficult as I thought it would be. I think the 3rd day was the toughest for me. I'm also looking for support through this forum and would love to chat with others who are on this exciting journey!

I just received the call from Heads Up today that I've been selected for the lapband procedure. Nervous and excited!!
