I had a lap band installed a year ago and it has been one of the greatest regrets of my life. four months after surgery I was still having abdominal pain while working out so that routine was lost to me. my most current issue is; pain while eating. my band only contains 4cc of fluid and I experience pain while attempting to eat most foods every time I eat. I don't have reflux or vomiting just pain and occasionally mass saliva is produced when I feel the pain. I have relocated in my post opt period and it has been a struggle finding a doctor who will take me being post opt. I have found one but it will be a period of time before I'm able to get in. has anybody dealt with these symptoms and found what caused them. is it a slip?
