Today is the last day of my pre-op diet. I'm ready for tomorrow. I will keep my band buddies updated on my recovery. This app has been a great support and you all answered a lot questions. I appreciate your words of encouragement. Lets do this!!!!!

I have 3 children and we go on vacation every summer. I didn't know it would only be a 2 week process for me. When do you have to go back to the doctor? -

DAY 10 OF MY PRE-OP DIET! This protein drink tastes better and better everyday. I'm fortunate enough to work alone in the summer and im not influenced to eat and snack. I think i may continue to substitute a protein drink for a meal. BTW is it Thursday yet??? LOL

No more diets!!!! I'm ready to live my life to the FULLEST without trying to get full from every meal. I'm ready to eat a bit and be satisfied. Food has been the center of my life for way to long. I'm ready to take charge and own being who I am......a new happy, healthier me.

I'm scheduled to have a scope in 2 days to check for hiatal hernia and im super nervous. What should I expect? Has anyone else had to do tis before surgery?

Sometimes I go on this site and I'm embarrassed to be a member. All of the bickering and complaining and insults. I joined this group for support!!! Support is what I think most of us needs right now. If you are here to fight and argue and put down please find another app.

I got my op time today!!!!! i have to be there at 9 surgery at 10:30. -
My husband told me not to cook anymore because the food i cook is nasty...LOL! i'm WAS so used to tasting everything i cooked but now im not. So, Im guessing it does taste a little different.
