Today is day 7 on the Protein diet and I'm feeling great!!! I would have never guessed that not gorging on food would be this easy. It's amazing what you can do when you are determined and you see a light at the end of the tunnel. I have the strength and the mental will power that I didn't know I had in me. I've been sticking to this diet 100% and I get mad when someone tries to temp me to stray. I'm on the straight and narrow path to being a better healthier me for my 3 kids and my husband. I pan on living a long time I have to be around to see my daughter graduate from college in 4 years and to be there to Celebrate when she reaches her goal of being a doctor and sooooo much more. I know God is not finished with me yet. I have work to do.

Did any of you use the True results self payment option? Did you have to pay any money upfront?

I've been reading different forums and some people say they have trouble eating rice and Boars Head lunch meat. Is there any other foods that I should look out for? I'm trying to avoid ALL stuck episodes!

What is a preop approach? I'm supposed to have surgery to get the band in.

I My insurance paid for the ECG and my understanding is that it will also pay for the hernia repair. My out of pocket is $5500.

I'm scheduled for Thursday to have surgery. The lady isn't answering my questions quickly enough... All I've paid so far is $25. I just don't want any financial surprises come Thursday.

Good luck! I'm on day 6. I use 2% milk then I water it down. Day 3&4 were the hardest for me.

I wondered about telling people at all!!! Simply because some people are soooo negative and they are quick to tell you the cons. My advice would be just watch who you tell. I haven't told my sister. Telling her is = to posting it on Facebook. Do what you feel is right. I have a few people I want to tell but I will only tell them after the band is in place.

I like the Isopure brand. It's tart but its like a sugar free Kool-aid. I sip on it for about 4 hours at work. I also like the strawberry and vanilla GNC brand.
