While checking out the new coupon book from costco, I noticed 5 off vanilla or chocolate 18 pack. Limit 2. The coupon is good on May 9 - June 2nd. This is the first time I've seen them in their coupon book. But I'm usually looking at the fattening stuff! LoL

I have super sensitive smell now. I don't know how I will be able to stand it if gets more sensitive after surgery.

I've told my husband, kids, my parents and siblings. My brother asked me why? He said you've always been fat. Yea, no duh! But they are all supportive. I've started counting calories and my husband is drinking a few Protein Shakes too. I've told a few people at work because they started questioning why I was on a diet. Im fat! that should Be reason enough.lol There's a couple of them who are jealous because our insurance won't cover it. I've also heard well so and so died from it. I also get questioned every week about how long will it take...blah blah. I know a few of them will be on my case after my surgery asking how much I've lost, why haven't you lost more, is that all you are eating...and you look unhealthy, you should eat more lol. It's my decision and no one can do this but me.

How did your dr appointment go?

Are you using something like myfitnesspal.com to help keep track of your calories?

How much is a case of Premier? I was at Costco this weekend but totally forgot to look for it.

I have Tricare Reserve Select and was told today that they won't cover the sleeve. The insurance lady at Dr office said it may be 12 - 18 months before Tricare will approve the sleeve for coverage. Tricare will cover lapband or bypass with an out of pocket expense of $150. My 1st appointment is April 29th for consult, psych eval and nutritionist. I was hoping it may be approved during my 6 month diet but I've found out I only need to do 3 months. I've read that people are getting it done at Military hospitals and clinics. I called a clinic 90 minutes away and they do it. I need to have my civilian doctor send a bariatric surgery referral and go from there. I don't understand why Tricare won't approve it, but you can have it done at a military hospital.
