I have struggled with my weight as a lot of others have for many years since I gave birth to my daughter. I have tried pretty much everything out there to loose weight (diet, exercise, programs, starvation, low-calorie....), I though about the lap band for months and earlier this year I decided to go ahead with it. I had planned on the lap band in February, but I ended up breaking my right ankle and had to put it off till I was walking again. I was told that I wouldn't be back on my feet for at least 6 months to a year, but I was back on my feet within 3 months and said that if I could do that, I can do the lap band. I am very new to this, freshly by 3 days, just had it done on Thursday 06/13/13. I am excited, but a little uneasy as to what to expect.
