I'm doing my surgery in nyu does anyone know what the pre op diet is??? I am switching from band to sleeve and forgot how many shakes I have to drink and what the other requirements are some one please help!!!!!

Hi my surgery is scheduled for October 4 g-d willing. I am doing it after my holidays just easier to find a place for my 2.5 year old. I had the Lapband almost 6 years ago and lost weight but gained it back and can't seem to loose it. The dr feels I'm a great candidate to the revision and see hopefully no problem with it being the same day. Q to anyone who did it in nyu how much of the shakes am I supposed to drink for the liquid diet???

I use nyu in manhattan and they r doing my revision.

I agree I love cooking!!! I'm such a stress eater that's why I am the way I am. Are any of u frum?

My dr told me a month before he wants to empty my band and will god willing do the whole thing at once as long as I don't have too much scar tissue.

Does anyone know if I have the Lapband now will I have to do the 2 week liquid diet that is going to be the determination of when I am doing the surgery???
