  1. Well - Its been a long time since I have been here. Lost a total of 58 lbs and well. Now. I am expecting baby #3 (Due 6/12/15) - I've had my band empited at around 16-17 weeks as i was having a very hard time keep down anything and everything. I cant wait to get back on my lapband wagon and continue the success of losing :)

so glad to see positive posts. I knew you would get there even when you were so down...it was just hard for you to see past the tough beginning you went through.

thank you! It truly is getting better, just hard to see it sometimes, but def saw it last night when I was packing up the much larger sizes. hard to believe, just hopeful it continues so that I am fully out of what I call "fat lady clothes".

Isn't it a great feeling to pack up those clothes? I have a big black trash bag full of clean, folded clothes. I add to it each week. Need to find a consignment shop to resell them.

I am a workin on it!! Running around so much this morning it's not even 3:00 and I'm pooped!

  10. @@Crystal76 I feel EXACTLY what you say. In fact, I think our stats are VERY similar and I have also had 2 fills. Going to see my dr tomorrow. I'm so discouraged at this point
  11. 3.5 post op and I think the "Honeymoon" is finally over. Scale didnt move this month, actually it did go down a few but now its back to where I started. Why is it when I get a fill I am sooooo good with restriction for the first 2 weeks and then BAM - its over?!?!?!?!? Feeling disappointed :(

can't respond to "fills" issue (i was sleeved) but sounds like you have stalled - don't worry i doubt honeymoon period is over yet - good luck

      Me Too :(

I'm almost 4 months out and the scale has moved maybe 2 lbs...maybe. I was told to "be a little bad, eat some carbs, sugar, for a few days, then go back to good eating habits" to give your system a little jump start. Good Luck!

  12. such a downer seeing that scale going up instead of going down :( Def not looking to have a pity party, but I sooooo need to re-evaluate this. BIG SIGH

I wouldn't spend a lot of time focusing on that. "Hold the vision and trust the process." Smile and remember how far you have come.

do you know why the scale is going up? If you are following your meal plan and exercising, just stay away from the scale and look for the NSVs. If you are doing something that explains the gain, stop doing it. Come to the next support group meeting...I think we're going to hold it on LI. Lisa is rently following up with a possible venue

  13. Grrrrrr! Up 4.6 lbs because of TOM this week. HATE YOU! Upside is i do feel & see the NSV. Just wanted that scale to move down, not up.

      Forsythia

I feel your pain. I get so bloated and gain so much water during shark week. It's only temporary!!

  14. UGH! TOM = +2.5 lbs!@ GO AWAY!

    1. gowalking

      gowalking

The good news is that it will go away in a few days. Don't stress it.

  15. TGIF! Feeling good, but I gotta get my walk on, was on a 2 day break, but I still lost :)
