I'm down 36 lbs. I had a minor set back due to a flipped port and a second surgery but I've been losing about .5-1.5 a week since then I was banded October 16th -

Ok long story short. Had my surgery 10/16- went in for first fill dec 2nd. Flipped surgery to correct 12/9. My doc put in 2 ccs on 12/9. I don't notice much of a difference. I go back first week of January for my port follow up. Is that too soon to ask for another fill? I want to start slow I was thinking maybe asking for 1 cc, just wanted some input

I'm taking the wait and see approach. I feel I'm still hungry after 1 cup but once I eat I can go hours in between meals. Maybe it's working. I'd guess I'd rather be less filled than too tight. -

So it feels good to be saying almost two months out and I'm down 31.7 lbs! I had a minor set back with a flipped port which was fixed Monday with a 2 CC fill. I'm not in the green zone, but do notice I get fuller much quicker than before. I'm thankful for this site to be able to share success and vent frustration as needed. It's nice to have some many supportive people that know exactly what I'm going through happy weekend!

Thank you! It was hard for me to see until I did a side by side. I have a long way to go. And sometimes I feel like i could easily fall back into my old eating habits. But then I remind myself this was a major surgery and a major life event. Not just another diet -

We just got home a few weeks ago from Disney and I totally know what you mean!! I didn't struggle to sit next to my husband and son on a ride. What a great feeling!! Enjoy and way to go! -

NSV went out shopping for a Christmas party and naturally picked up a 3x top. Wouldn't you know it, too big! 2x is fitting and not even snug. Who would have thought. 2x would make me smile! So happy to read everyone's NSVs!- 440 replies

So I am 2 months post op and went in for my first fill yesterday only to find my port has flipped has anyone had this happen to them? I'm having the correction surgery done Monday morning and my doctor is going to put 2 ccs in at that time. I know if can happen but I was so excited to get my fill.

Home and all fixed! Pretty sore at this moment but have 2 ccs in my band. Looking forward to starting my journey tomorrow.

Hi ladies! I have PCOS and I am a month post op. I'm down 26.4 lbs so it can happen. I am really watching the carbs as my obgyn said that will help with the PCOS. Good luck to you all!!

Oh yes, preop I wanted to eat everything. Even stuff I didn't like. LOL. Our minds are funny that way
