So soon, incredibly excited, nervous and a little bit crazy

I couln't have kept up three weeks out at disney. You will be moving around and your pain should be gone but i was still short of breath and tired at three weeks out. If you can go slow and take it at your pace you might be ok. I wish you the best in whatever you decide. -

You will do great. I would have never been able to go to work the following Monday. You really might want to rethink that. I was banded July 10th and I'm down 34 lbs from the beginning of my preop diet. Good luck. -
I am having a hard time trying to decide which procedure to undergo.

I chose the lap band because it was the least invasive and it is reversible. The others are not. I was banded on July 10th and have had no regrets. I am down 34 lbs since the beginning of my pre op. I'm thrilled. Good luck and listen to your Doctors. -
I have wondered this as well. I had cereal for breakfast and laughed as i ate it.

melissag43 replied to healthydnp's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
you ladies will do great. I was banded on july 10th and i would have never believed you could eat so little food and be satisfied. Hang in there. -
I was banded on July 10th. I was stuck with no movement for six days and was just about to get sad. I could tell my body was making changes though. Low and behold the scale has dropped 5 lbs in the last three days. Be patient. It will happen. I have no fill in my band and i'm still under 1000 calories a day. Very pleased. Hang in there.

hang in there you are almost ready to eat

my doctor gave me a list of things i could eat and how many calories and i knew it was to much for me so I did my own. I drank a Protein shake for Breakfast, another Protein Shake for lunch, ate a lean cuisine for dinner and had a sugar free fudgsicle for a bedtime snack. worked great. I lost 10 lbs. Good luck
