Hi, nice to meet you. Good luck on your upcoming procedure also! I just joined this forum yesterday and I can tell I will like it here. We all need support in some form, and I know I wont get a lot in real life- mostly because no one knows and I am very private that way. It is great to have a place to go to talk with others going through the same experience.

I understand how you feel Alleyscby. I will read something bad and think "oh no! what have I signed up for!".. then see a really inspirational post next. I think I need to stop obsessing. We will all have different experiences - mostly good I hope! I start pre-op diet Monday.

Slimband is the same, just the name I have been struggling for over 8 years with obesity, been overweight since starting a desk job years before that. I am very anxious and often get cold feet! Nice to meet you.
