Take hubby to your next appointment with the surgeon. If anything, HIS (hubby's) is the only opinion that carries some weight, everyone else can SUCK it! They have no idea what it's like to live as a BANDit, it's NOT the lazy, easy way out!! If you need more time to lean more about life post op, then by all means, take your time. Just remember, we will be here to help you through it if you decide to go ahead and do it. Ps. That is one of the reasons I chose NOT to tell friends/family about my surgery

If 6/10 people banded have complications OR revisions, I don't think doctors would be performing so many... Check the source of that info, it sounds like rubbish.

I had such LOUSY day today!! I am also between my 1st & 2nd fill..... And today I had wayyyyyy too many carbs for the first time. Boohoo. Tomorrow is a new day.

What a BUMMER!! Lets just hope the port is positioned in a funny way, father than it being flipped. I had a little difficulty finding my port, and the nurse just looked at the X-ray taken after the placement and was able to pinpoint exactly how it was positioned; however, that was AFTER being pushed really hard on the wrong spot.... I have a HUGE, painful black and blue. I'm hoping for some good news from your doc when you go see him next. Stay POSITIVE!

Also, you might be eating too quickly. You should take no less than 1/2 hour to eat a meal... Crazy, I know!

Who is familiar with SkyMoon1982 on YouTube? (She's back, BTW) she has a video of a 24 hour "holiday" detox on her channel, and I'm wondering if anyone has tried it.... The weight that comes off is more likely than not Water weight, but I AM retaining some water & would like to try it.

Generally, three weeks post op, as long as the incisions are closed and fully healed; however, every surgeon has their own rules... It only take a second to find out, call them (as I did) and see what are their guidelines.

Although I know every surgeon has different guidelines, the differences are NOT that great. If I'm understanding correctly, you're claiming they told you it's "no biggy" that you had SOLIDS on your way home right after surgery... And that the only reason they didn't want you to have SOLIDS was to keep you from puking (btw, there's no "E" in puking)... I highly doubt that ANY surgeon, no matter how lax his rules are will be ok with that, so STOP LYING!! What are you, twelve, that you can't take CONSTRUCTIVE criticism?? Because that's what you've gotten in each and every answer, right up to the point where YOU become the "bully" you've accused others of being. For the most part, I like to give people the benefit of doubt, and do not like to "offend" anyone, but you, my friend, have serious issues. Yeahhh, she's working two jobs and gained about 30 lbs. she'll be making regular updates now and plans to get those lbs off.

I dont know if it was; however, i hardly hear of people coming out like this. You can be sure I'm bringing this up during my next visit. For sure the B&B will still be there in two weeks when I go for my second fill. If my nurse is rough AGAIN, I'll request my surgeon instead.
