I should ask... Why shouldn't "we" take ibuprofen? -
3 Weeks Post Op-Still In Pain...

Awwwww. That sucks! I hope you find total relief soon. -
Endingyoyo.... I'm sorry you're not having a good experience, but please don't feel like a failure. If you know there's a pattern, try to prepare for four to five days. Plan your meals, and find ways to take the focus off food... Maybe if you're not working and have too much time on your hands, find a local senior center or hospital where you can donate of your time. If that's not the case, find something to do after work. Maybe feed the birds at a nearby park or visit your local library. dylanmiles23 said: i respect every surgeon and their method, but to only have 2.4 after a year and five months seems a little ridiculous to me.... UNLESS, you're at your sweet spot already, but by what you wrote it seems you're not there yet. I would be SO disillusioned if my surgeon made me go so slow.

Oh You're Never Gonna Believe This Nsv....
HotButterFly replied to gowalking's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Somehow surgery had the opposite effect on my hair. I was losing a lot of it.... I've been noticing new growth coming IN for about 2.5 months. I'm only 4 months post op -
I went in for a fill today and everything was fine all day.... A little while ago I had something (can't remember what) and got this weird sensation in the middle of my chest (kinda between my b@@s) Just now, I took 1/2 of a sleeping pill with some cold tea and I feel the same sensation. It's like a burning sensation... But not of "fire", its more like what you feel when you eat a York Peppermint patty. Has anyone felt this after a fill? There's no pain, and it doesn't really bother that much. It's just WEIRD.

There's a great thread here about what people are reading and I hope to be able to read MANY of the books shared on that thread, but what are y'all listening to? My favorite band is 3 Doors Down & my favorite artist at the moment is Carrie Underwood. (I like rock & alternative) Aldo, what do you all "workout to"? I never find music I enjoy to listen to while working out, except my usual playlists. Thanks in advance for participating

I won't live my life on liquids for the sake of losing faster. THERE, I SAID IT! I get that out of the way because I know there could be people who might think I want to lose the unhealthy way. My fill today was aggressive.... So much so, that I couldn't tolerate water- By the time I realized I was indeed TOO TIGHT, and by the time I gained my "composure" enough to come out of the bathroom, I was in real bad shape. I went back in and had 1cc taken out. He unfilled me pretty quickly and I felt immediate relieve. It was kinda cool. After the unfill, I was able to take sips of Water (but was a little afraid) going home I decided to get some coffee because I read here how warm liquids help with irritation. Buuuut, it didn't go well. I've been feeling stuck ever since I had the first sip of coffee. HERE IS MY QUESTION: could it be that I'm irritated because of the situation before the unfill, or FOR SURE FOR SURE, am I too tight? I know you're not surgeons, but maybe there's someone who had to have an unfill after not tolerating water, felt sh*tty afterwards, and eventually settled without getting an unfill? I don't mind an unfill (if necessary) I just don't want to have to go to the ER to get it done at this hour. Ps... PBing & sliming Thanks in advance for your help!!

You can stop receiving emails. Just open one of the emails and scroll to the bottom. There's an option to opt OUT of getting an email every time someone posts under a topic you're subscribed to. I did it!! Ps.... I rarely come here now, as opposed to before the change, when I used to LIVE in here. Now, maybe every 10th day I peek in

I don't even know how to respond to that one. -
If she NEVER talks to you or eats with you again, thank the heavens. Not so much for her indiscretion (we all act the fool now & then) but mostly because of her reaction to you standing up for yourself and calling her out on her stupidity.

Thank you, all!!

Thanks, Carol!! I'll tell you what I've done today. Early in the morning I went to BJ's and bought my BOOST Hight Protein shakes case so I can have those to fall back on (I've been buying Muscle Milk at the store and they are PRICY). Also, one of the things that REALLY helped me stay on track before was setting my alarm to 4 hours every time I ate. I wouldn't eat before that alarm went off, and it was pretty accurate because I would be getting hungry every 3 1/2 hours. I'll do two days of LIQUIDS starting tomorrow and that should straighten me out. Ps..... No sliders today, only shakes and solid protein
