I was banded when I was 24, turned 25 two months later. It has been wonderful so far....In October it will be 2 years. Hopefully I will lose another 30 pounds by then and be at my next goal!

I go to Gerald Garwood in College Station. He is great. He is not a surgeon, But was trained to do fills, and assists Dr Benavides.

The notebook is THE BEST!! I did not like the beggining, kind of slow---but BOY THE END!!! My husband cried more than I did! He said he has that kind of love for me!!!

This last fill I had was VERY tight. I could not eat anything for about a week, just clear liquids, then I went to mushies for a couple of days, then on to solids, and still not much. Kind of like a "mini starting over".

I got the book yesterday, and read most of it last night! Very enlightening. That was just what I needed. Thanks Donali!

I am kind of like alex in this, it has changes my portions and how fast I eat, but not the choices I make.

I have not gained any weight at all since being banded. I have fit several plateus, but not gained. Praise The Lord!

I don;t know, But I am right there with you I have lost 70 punds, I weigh 220 and I still have the cellulite on my thighs, still cannot wear shorts and look decent.
