I called my insurance and they said lapband is not covered, but they also said that a predtermination letter needed to be sent, if they don't cover it then why send a letter. or is it that they say they don't cover it until they get a letter, i am confused and upset. I really need this and want this, i would be so let down if they said no, anyone else that went threw this process does this sound familiar?

Thunder and Wendell you guys are an inspiration to us all, it takes a lot of guts to admit it, a lot of nerve to see it, and a lot of effort to move on, I am a big guy myself and Reading your post i could feel your pain, i havent cried in years but all the sudden i teared up, I never saw myself at 350 witch was my biggest weight, i always told myself i would never go above 300, and when i had my children, i said i would lose it, now my son is 6 i am still what i was when he was born, and i can no longer live with the guilt and the pain and the discomfort, I have finally noticed how much i weigh and I am finally doing something about it. When ever the going gets tough just remember everyone supports us on this journey and we will win!!
