So protein before and after? I never knew that. How much do you have, and examples of what you have would be appreciated, Pt1. Thx
-
Thank you journey!

After sweating out symptoms, then blood tests, and finally a mri, my head has nothing in it except what should be there. So after almost a month, time to think abt my band and weight loss and ridding the 7 pounds I gained. Fear eating is ferocious. Yesterday 2000 cal. Day before 2200. Love to chit chat but I have some serious walking to do! (Thank you, God) PS. Anyone ever have bells palsy? Much better than a tumor but very annoying.

I have 8oz of coffee with one scoop chocolate protein powder with ice in the blender every morning. I use proti zyme so I get 26g of protein, 126cal, 1g sugar. Yummy!!
-
Sorry you had that kind of experience. I was hoping it was getting better on here.
-
Thanks for opening my eyes to my mirror.

Hard boiled egg got stuck once. But extra careful since. Good luck.

I feel your pain. Have not felt satisfied since the day of surgery. Never has 1 cup of anything done it. I have 8cc in a 14cc band. Tonight was the last straw, had 2000calories today.

No, but it looks good. And since it is by the same guy that made Insanity, it is probably effective. Good luck.

My stomach growled for two months. Before, during, and after eating. But it stopped as suddenly as it started. Try to limit yogurt to 8 oz. at a time. Light and fit dannon 2x protein is my fav for only 80cal. Love that you and your stomach ARE CONVERSING!! Too funny. : )

Is my mind playing tricks on me
Quahog replied to adugan's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Drink drink drink. And make no mistake, I do over eat at times. I just start fresh each day. -
The opposite, skin never looked so healthy. I assumed due to decrease in fat in diet.

Only when I was pregnant! : ) Hope you find the answer, but thanks for reminding me of those wonderful feelings.

Is my mind playing tricks on me
Quahog replied to adugan's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes unfortunately. -
Comfy clothes. Book, or magazine to help kill time before surgery. And most importantly......a great attitude!
-
Have I experienced it? Yes What have I done? PRAYED!! Good luck to you.

I used both the sugarfree pops and the italian ice. Never found sugar free yogurt. Usually the trade off for fatfree food is increased sugar. Like in ice cream.

You publicly owned up, I think that means you probably feel bad enough to stay on course. Good luck, and remember you are not the only one and that doesn't mean you aren't serious and don't want it. If we all had self control, bands wouldn't have been invented.

travel before/after banding
Quahog replied to aviva1979's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
If it were me, I'd like the distraction of work and travel while on the pre op diet. Whatever you choose, good luck! -
Yup!! And it is always chocolate.
-
Glad to read I may feel something down the road. I am in that "feeling no help" stage.
-
Sounds like you mind is on track too. Way to go!! Best of luck.

Three miles last night and three today. How about you? Just reporting to make myself be accountable.
