Can anyone explain how 2 weeks post op when you start eating under 1,000 calories a day you gain weight and walking 45 mins a day. It just dosent make sence, when pre op I could take in 3500 cals a day and not gain weight. I just dont understand and am very frustrated. Please help!

Hi ALL, I am new to this type of forum, however think this is great. I have scheduled surgery for 6/25 and I am really very nervous, about adjusting to not eating..... I was also wondering if anyone regreted having the surgery and why, all the online research I have done I have not found any negitive feedback... not that I want to it just seems that all were happy with their decision, and I wanted to hear from some who had a different view or opinion.
