When to return to work?

I am a dog trainer, so I spend a lot of time on my feet and generally dont do much lifting. whatever lifting I may need to do I can get someone else to take care of it until im better. I planning on getting my surgery on a thursday and take a week off to be back the following friday. Worse comes to worse I can have another trainer help me in the classes if I need her. -

Do they have to make the surgery date after your last consultation or can they make it sooner? How long before your surgery date was yours scheduled? -
So this is my first post on here. I have gone to my first appointment where they evaluate if you are a good candidate and I was, so my surgery may be sometime in September bec,ause my insurance requires 4 months of counseling. Today I get the regular counseling and the psychological counseling. What exactly happens during the psychological evaluation?
