I have heard good and bad things about the band and I'm guessing its like winning the lotto there's a chance things will work out good an a chance they won't. Sorry to hear ur in pain one of my friends was telling me her friend had the same problem as u. Nothing worse than pain an frustration

What did your lap band cost out of pocket?

I think u would be better paying for a trip to perth over here its $1250 out of pocket with no insurance an that $1250 covers all up follow up appointments fills if more surgery is needed etc. i think it's all about word of mouth finding the right doctor that covers u over here -
Has anyone only had 3 days of shakes/diet before there banding? I've only been given 3 days notice and am a bit worried my liver may not have shrunk enough by the time the op comes

That's made me feel better I've been panicking a bit as 3 days of diet isn't long to prepare but some ppl say there doctors tell them one day of shakes before op an that's all they need

Hi I'm going in on Monday and I've just got mine I rang the surgeon an he said its not a problem but u have to tell them on the day u go in surgery so they know in theatre they said its not a problem though
