Greetings from a new member (also in the "getting nervous club"
Step4271 replied to Playrider's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Wish you both the best in your journey. I was nervous to when I had my surgery on May 15,2013 but I feel so good right now with the weight I have lost. My pre-op diet consisted of 10 days on liquids such as protein shakes, sugar free popsicles, sugar free jello and broth. Good Luck will be thinking of you on your surgery date. -
Well it has been a while since I have been on here. I am 5 weeks post op and I have felt pretty good until today I have not felt to well. Back to the Dr on Monday for first fill. I think I have lost another 4lbs which would put me at 22lbs down. I am a little nervous about the fill but I know I will be fine because my mom will be there for support. Even though I have not lost a lot I am already starting to feel better. Everyone tells me I can tell you have lost weight but I can't. My mom tells me to pick up a 20lb bag of dog food this will let you know just how much weight you were carrying around with you that makes me feel so much better.

Hello everyone had my first post op appointment today. The Dr said I could eat my protein and not drink it. I was so excited finally food but I am so careful when I eat. I do not want to get sick. Anyway have been on a liquid diet for 18 days and have lost 15lbs so far. On my way to a better life. Hope everyone is having a great day:)

Hi I had Lap Band surgery on May 15, 2013. I was so nervous and I still am. So nervous about eating when the Dr decides to let me. My first post-op appointment is on May 24. This will definitely change my life. So excited I found this site to talk to others about the experience.
