I am scheduled for the 24th. I am getting so nervous. Just scared because I don't know how I am going to feel and getting used to the new eating habits -

I am excited, scared and anxious! I want to begin a new chapter and be successful. I am afraid I won't be able to do it. Is it normal to feel this way. Are you able to eat normal food after you heal? -

Just got my insurance approval

I am so excited after a long day at work and then 3 hrs of class, I came home to a letter from my insurance company stating they approving the surgery. I am so excited but equally nervous! I want to make the best decision for myself and to be a great role model for my kids. Hoping to make my pre-op appointment tomorrow. Please keep your fingers crossed for me -

I am hoping within the next 2 weeks. Today I am going to call to set up my pre-op appt. I have my surgical clearance and all lab work done. I know I can't wait to start this chapter as well. I am looking forward to shopping in regular stores again and for seats not to feel so small. When do you think you may have surgery -

I feel the same way. My surgery has not been scheduled yet but I am hoping for June. I just met with the nutritionist. And I am freaking out about not being able to do the diet. I don't want to fail. And I think it hit me more because she told me how they submitted the request for the surgery to my insurance company. I am so nervous

Today met with the nutritionist and psychologist. All seemed to go well. They sent the request into my insurance. I am starting to freak out a bit. I am so nervous about following the liquid diet and then when introducing solids back in after the surgery. I am so scared!!!!!

I am nervous!! I just did my blood work and have my appointment with the nutritionist and psychologist this week. I am hoping this will give me a new start at life and I can be a positive healthy role model for my daughter. Just wondering how quickly do you see weight loss? Plus any suggestions on how to make post op an easy transition? I am hoping for an early June surgery date
