I went in for my first fill yesterday I was so nervous but I didn't feel a thing... the dr put in 3cc but had to take 1cc out because it was to tight so I'm at 2cc... didn't gwt hungry at all yesterday and today I'm doing good also... So excited

Yesterday was my first post-op appt after being banded on the 22nd... I was so excited when the dr told me I was down 16.8 lbs from surgery.... I just hope the weight continues to come off the same... I'm sure it will be slower now that the water weight has gone...

I'm glad I read your post... I just had surgery last wed and I have been so freaked out about the fills... I actually just told my family I was more scared of the fills than surgery.. but you have put my nerves at ease... thank you... and good luck

I had surgery last wed and I went back to work yesterday planning to just stay for a few hours to see how I felt and I ended up being there longer than expected... today I'm feeling better than yesterday.... so I agree with everyone else that it all depends on your healing... Good luck on your new journey :-)

I am 7 days opt and my journey has been great... no need of any medications.. but today I woke up feeling tightness in the middle of my chest... as if I have on a tight wired bra... I did sleep on my sides for the first time last night not sure if that has anything to do with it... Concerned.. is this normal?

Im sorry you had to experience that by someone who means so much to you... just remember you are doing this for you and nobody else... as long as you see the change and you feel good about yourself that's all that matters... I would take those emotions that you are feeling as a tool to proove to them the great choice you made and the awesome results you are having and are going to continue to have... keep your head up and I am here if you need anything... :-)

Thank you all for your responses.. Thankfully my pain has been bearable and havent takeen any meds... so I should be good...

I was just banded wed and today was the first day I was able to finish my protein shake... what I did was purchase unflavored protein and I make my own shakes because the store bought are just to thick and sweet for me... I also add the protein to my broth, and light yogurt.. hope this helps...
