Hello! Please help me! I was told by my NUT to drink 2 shakes and a healthy meal (high protein low carbs) or 3 shakes to help me lose the 10 pounds I needed to lose. The problem is she recommended Ensure which has 40gr of carbs / 22 g sugar. I followed her advise and gained 2.8 lbs in about a week! Can you please tell me what shakes have you tried (and liked) that can help me achieve the ultimate goal of losing the remaining 8 pounds I need to lose before my next appointment in 12 days! (My surgeon will not schedule my surgery until I lose the weight!) Thank you in advance for your help.

I'm also struggling with my pre-op diet, my doctor said no surgery until I lose 10 pounds ! My former NUT (not going back ever again) told me to drink ensure to help me lose weight! Needless to say I gained weight so not only struggling with my mental hunger but also with the gained weight. My BF bought me a bunch of protein shakes today so I can try different ones I also work in a very stressful environment and like you said it will not disappear after the surgery. You are not alone, hang in there!

Has anyone tried natural whey by bodylogix ? My dear BF bought it for me hope it taste good!

Thank you all for your input, I am making a list and going to get some weight loss shakes. I am no NUT but 40gr of carbs a meal to lose weight didn't seem right, specially when I compared the label with Slimfast shakes. Thank you again, I knew something was wrong! I don't think I will go back to this NUT.

Hello Everyone! I am new to this site and would like to introduce myself. My name is Karmen and I have struggled with my weight for too long. Growing up Carbs were a must in our diet, now I am struggling to change that. I finally have an insurance that covers WLS and I'm so grateful and happy that I will be able to change my life for the better with the help of this surgery. My first appointment with the surgeon was on 02/20 and got a list of things I needed to do by 04/02 Bloodwork Psychological evaluation Nutrirional evaluation / counseling Loose 5-7 pounds I did all of them except lose the weight and that's were I am having a hard time. I gained 2 more pounds! So now I am trying so hard to lose the weight and would really appreciate your suggestions, so far I have cut out carbs, sugars, driking tons of Water. My next appointment is in early May, I hope I am able to lose at least 5 pounds by then. Thank you for reading my post.
